2. The original had something, the one with Rene Russo had Rene Russo (hotcha) and the one with Jet Li had Jet Li. Otherwise, I could take it or leave it. Especially Joe Pesce. 3. No. Quote:
2. Metropolis Fallen. 3. That sentence makes little sense. If everyone likes them, wouldn't I? And really, there are few 'universally acclaimed' musicians that I either don't have a grudging respect for, or think is total crap. I do really like Paul McCartney, though. Quote:

2. Not only possible, but pretty much Working As Intended. It comes with age, and it's a gradual thing. You'll see. 3. Publishing a few novels, a game or two, and a few albums of music. Plus starting that hippy commune with all my favourite people. Quote:
2. Well, I haven't binged to excess in some time, but I did fairly recently eat a handful of Whoppers (chocolate malted candies) and they gave me a bit of a stomach ache. 3. Blade Runner. Also Lee, Canada is more or less European, they are socialists, they have the same Queen as England, half of those whacko's speak french (I guess not half) and you share the same "hatred" towards America** as alot of Europe ** I dont hate America, I kinda like it, it's just the wierd stuff and oposits that I find err, wierd? ____________________ 1.Do you belive that Global warming is such a big threat as they make it sound? 2.Would you rather be stuck in a Monkey Island game or Zack Mckracken game (like really stuck inside there with them)? 3.Who's your favorite stand up comedian? |

I'd love to hear it.
Well, come on over. I'll bake cookies. The thought that there's a 33% likelihood that we'd be living in the same city makes me all kinds of happy. Still, even if you wind up picking one of the first two options, I hope we'll have at least one opportunity to visit. Quote:
2. The Last Express would probably qualify. 3. Prague. I'd like to stay there for a couple of days, then hop on a train to another European city, and so on. Preferably with a dear friend, but I wouldn't object terribly to a solo trip. --- Next person can answer Irons's questions.

Well, it's probably my fault Squinky didn't have time to answer yoru questions, so I'll answer them for her... Quote:
Make no mistake; the world is not in jeopardy. It will keep going, and life on Earth will adapt, and the damage we've done will slowly undo itself and set some new balance. The problem is us: we may not be able to survive the changes. As clever as we are, we're not very good at working as a species to live with the environment, and we may wind up starving or suffocating ourselves, if the freak hurricanes don't finally wipe us out. < /rant> 2. Speaking for myself, I'm not sure I'd want to get stuck in either, but I think I'd settle for Monkey Island first. Especially if Deirdra chose the same, which seems a safe bet. 3. My favourite used to be Dennis Miller. I haven't really kept up with stand-up lately, but I'd say these days I'm somewhere between Robin Williams and Eddie Izzard. ____________________ 1) What song just screams 'fun in the sun' to you? 2) What song just makes you want to stay indoors and snuggle up in your favourite sweater and read or do something quiet, perhaps with a loved one? 3) What song makes you want to get up and dance, even if you have no one to dance with (yet)? |

These answers vary over time, but this is how I'd answer at this point in time.
1. Atlas Sound - Walkabout (featuring Noah Lennox) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ojMh_...eature=related 2. Yo La Tengo - Today is the Day http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Az3SHeMHC6c or most songs by the Cocteau Twins. 3. Primal Scream - MBV Arkestra (If They Move Kill 'Em) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qpjrZMlqLqI __ 1. What did you think of my above answers? 2. If I like someone (and have talked to them before) how the hell do you initiate? 3. Did you expect the themes of question 2 to crop up in my questions?

1. The first and second one are pretty-sounding. Third one has some free jazz-like brass stuff, which is pretty awesome, but the electronic elements don't really appeal to me as much.
2. Initiate what? Oh, you mean a date? Just ask them "do you want to [do something fun where you can hang out in a more or less neutral location, preferably in the afternoon]?" If the object of your affection responds favourably, proceed from there; if not, move on with the rest of your life. Of course, you may want to wait for Lee to answer this question, since he does a much better Cyrano de Bergerac than I do. 3. You are extremely predictable, Hammy, but that's why we love you! --- 1. What's the best April Fools Day thing you've seen on the internet today? 2. What's the most groan-worthy? 3. You're trying to get some work done and there are annoying construction noises keeping you from concentrating. How do you rectify the situation?

1- Kotaku being taken over by Activision and becoming Koticku
2- Telltale developing the rest of Bone games. I know that's impossible as they no longer hold the rights but still made me sad. 3- If I suspect the noise is above regulation standards I'll call the Police. If not I'll damage my ears listening to loud classic rock on my iPoor while working. ----------- 1- What was your favorite TV when you where a child? 2- What is the fondest memory you have when you were younger 3- Your life is now a sitcom. What is your catchphrase?

1. Sharon, Lois, and Bram's Elephant Show, which I hold at least partially responsible for my picking the tuba as my band instrument in junior high.
2. How much younger? The time periods of which I have fondest memories are 1997-98, 2000-01, and 2006, all of which took place after I hit puberty. Childhood wasn't bad in the grand scheme of things, but wasn't all that exciting, either. 3. "What the poo?" --- 1. Musicians in public spaces: do you love 'em or hate 'em? 2. How comfortable would you feel in a work environment where you were the only member of your gender? 3. Your life is now a romcom. Describe what happens in the last five minutes of the film.

1. 2. Sorry I didn't get in here earlier. Did I already tell you the bit about finding something to talk about, like her shoes or hair or the way she just managed to catch the bus before it pulled away? Once you've gotten a friendly introduction, start asking her about things you hope to have in common, and if she prefers something that isn't one of your favourites, be diplomatic and think of something complimentary to say about her choice, despite it not being yours. Ultimately, what you're trying to do is give her the sense that you are actually genuinely interested in her as a person. And if you aren't really that interested in her... well, be honest with yourself and either let her go or make your play and deal with the consequences of your dishonesty. 3. Well, you don't always go on about meeting girls, but it is a fairly regular theme. Quote:
3. Put on headphones and crank up something that motivates you and drowns them out. this only works if you actually enjoy loud music on occasion. Quote:
2. Staying home sick with mumps or chicken pox and watching television, or reading Charlie Brown cartoons. 3. Well, that just figures. Quote:
2. Probably very. I work well with women. 3. Andy comes into my room and tucks me in before leaving to meet with the writers group. Quote:
2. I've called in when I wasn't falling over dead, but I usually feel pretty crummy on the days when I call in at all. I don't always get to stay home and rest as planned, though. 3. No, but I do an incredible imitation of one when paid to. Quote:
2. The Journeyman Project 3. Depends on who's wearing them. ____________________ 1) Would you like to say hello to my new computer, Zoe mark V? 2) Have you seen the new Doctor Who yet? 3) Will you come help me do the laundry? |

2. Yeah. I'm getting less of them these days than I did a few months ago, which I'm sure is a good sign. 3. I saw an eightysomething Dave Brubeck in concert a couple of years ago. That was rockin' and in 5/4 time, to boot. Quote:
