1. I was 18 and had just started driving. I got a job at a pizza joint (actually making the things, I guess), but was supposed to have my own car to pick up some delivery slack, when needed. I didn't feel comfortable driving so much, at the time.. I think I turned it down by not showing up, basically.

2. This one is going to be fun, I moved to a new country two years ago so my social network here is still abit limited to work and co workers, me and my girlfriend are living together with her son so fridays are often spent home with a movie, some games or the like, but this friday I am going out with my best friend in Sweden, so it will be beer on our usual spanish place (mahou beer), followed by deeper conversations about work, personal life and well anything really. 3. I hope I will, went to this "hall" they have in Stockholm, with foods from around the world, and bought some finnish foods (I love finnish food), so I got some karjalan piirakka (rice pirogs I think they are called in english, google it), some chocklate filled eggs called Fazer mignon, real eggshells and all) and some chicken with potatos, or well mashed potato grated in the oven with bread crumbs on top.. 1. 2. As an Englishmen I suppose I should naturally hate the French although many of the French people I have met have been lovely! Still always keen to beat them at sport though! 3. Depends what you mean. If you mean Religion as organised groups of people doing what they consider to be "god's will" to other people then it is often (but not always) a bad thing. If you mean Religion in terms of Man's personal relationship with God then I think it's mostly a good thing. _____________________________ 1. 2. I usually don't stress about hearing back about jobs I've interviewed for. I'm weird like that. 3. I'm kind of avoiding reading it until I have enough spare time to really do the revisions properly. That said, I've shared the novel with a couple of friends in the last couple of months, neither of whom have said anything about it. I suspect that's going to be the general reaction. Quote:
2. Deirdra. 3. Well, I've already met Deirdra once in real life, but I wouldn't mind spending more time with her (And no, not just because I've clearly got the hots for her. I am married, after all. I just think she's seriously cool. If you knew her like I do, you'd agree). But if we're going with 'new' forumites to meet, I'd like to meet Jelena, Stepurhan, tsa, Paul (rlpw), and Trep the most. After that, I'd like to get togetehr with the whole lot of you, because I think you're all great people, even when I'm tweaking your noses for being a little too stubborn about definitions of good AGs. Quote:
Actually, it would probably all go terribly wrong and turn into a Michael Valentine Smith cult. Which wouldn't be too bad, so long as it didn't turn into Scientology. 2. I get home from work, plug my iPod into my computer to recharge, scan the internet for messages from Deirdra, open a Guinness, decompress, and hopefully have enough energy left to start dinner before Dawn gets home. 3. Well, brunch today consisted of breakfast sausage on a bun. So yes. Quote:
2. Does Deirdra count? If not, Alan Moore. And if you need that explained, you need to read some Alan Moore. 3. I'd go open the bathroom door for them. Quote:
2. I worry for Obama, but I truly hope the health program sticks, because America has needed it for a very long time. 3. Well, being a bit of an Anglophile, naturally, my feelings about the Dutch are mixed. Quote:
2. I wish I spoke French better. Also, I'd really like to meet Isabelle Adjani. 3. I think everyone needs to have some system of belief, whether it be spiritual or secular. I don't entirely object to forming social groups to share in faith-based rituals. However, I largely feel that organized religion is a folly, as I honestly believe people need to have more conviction in their own beliefs, since nobody really believes exactly the same thing as anyone else. I'm a big believer that we are all a church of one. Quote:
2. I honestly haven't really spent any time around anyone whom I thought was so odious that I would classify them as 'horrible'. I used to have to put up with bullies in school, being short and geeky, but I'm pretty much over that. Most of those guys are pathetic now. 3. Is there ever a time When we can honestly say That everything we've done with our lives Has made us into the sort of person We always wanted to be? Is there ever really a day When we look back on our lives And nod, smiling approvingly, Knowing we've stayed on the path Leading us to the life We always wished we'd have? If there's ever been such a day, Ever been such a time, Would it be too much to ask That I could have that time Right now? Quote:
2. I block them religiously. 3. ...sorry, what did I miss? Quote:
2. My wife tends to do the vacuuming, unless she's having trouble with her knees, or is taking the cat for a walk. 3. The place where I work is slightly neater looking, because there is more space and everything is kept in piles and boxes on shelves and such. that said, I think our apartment is nicer. ____________________ 1) What's your feeling about Steven Page not being on the latest Barenaked Ladies album? 2) Do you think Sybil is making a mistake with Abe? 3) Don't you agree that Guybrush and Morgan really had something special there? |

1. Which one was Steven Page, again? My knowledge of BNL is limited to catchy songs they played on the radio back when I was however young I was when I still listened to the radio.
2. As long as he's got a nimble enough tongue to make up for his lack of a body, she'll be fine, I'm sure. 3. Yes, but by the time Guybrush realises it, she'll be long gone. Oh, and are you sure you'd be okay with letting me pick out your clothes for a week? I mean, I'd do my best to use my powers for good and all, but it's going to be really hard not to sneak in at least one pink pouffy dress. --- 1. Why? 2. How? 3. When?

1. The ones that require actual work, as opposed to the ones that can be done by robots.
2. I'll finally get that super elaborate musical adventure game with extremely high production values made. (What? You think I'd waste my money on a boring old sequel/remake?) 3. 1. I don't think about that too much, though if someone's obviously gone out of their way to pursue that appearence - they generally look a bit slimy.

The answer to this question is probably self-evident to those who aren't as weird as I am, particularly given that I haven't been in an actual Relationship with a capital R with anyone for the last half decade, but how on earth is it possible to know you want to date someone you've never so much as spoken to? 2.
