1. I probably should, and yet I always score the same thing on it, so I believe it's accurate, though it doesn't tell you anything new.
2. Never. 3. I've never taken the test for an employer, only for a co-op program in university, so I never had any motivation to "cheat". 1. 2. These days, it seems to be the latter. Before I got all caught up in being a responsible little biot, I didn't really try too hard to get people to do things my way. I just tried not to get into any situation where I couldn't walk away before anything that made me unhappy was forced on me. 3. I'd tell you, but then I'd be slapped, and I'm not feeling masochistic today. So instead I'll just say clean hair. Quote:
2. The very first time I discovered the MBTI, I was almost afraid of how uncanny the result was. Not a 100% match, but so close that the difference really doesn't matter much. Since then, the result is always the same, no matter how different the questions are from the previous one. 3. I never lie on personality tests. Not even for fun. My sense of self is too strong to fudge details. If someone doesn't want me based on my personality type, I don't want them, either. Quote:
2. No, but my sister's current boyfriend is Serbian, and takes part in a soccer tournament on Christmas day. 3. A little, but this year wasn't too bad, comparatively. I was more worried about Dawn. She tends to feel uncomfortable around my family, because they drink, sometimes to excess, on holidays. Quote:
2. I don't think there is such a thing as 'the worst movie'. That said, I really didn't like LXG. That was horribly disappointing. 3. I'm not a cheesecake aficionado. I like cheesecake, but I'm not fussy about flavour, so long as it's not too sweet. Quote:
2. I used to believe there was someone ideal for me. I've met a number who were so close but still didn't stay with me, so I gave up on the notion. These days, 'ideal' is anyone who loves me just as I am. 3. Yes, sporadically. I have a level 80 Dwarven Discipline/Holy Priest and a level 70 Tauren Feral Druid, amongst others. I don't take the game too seriously, but I'm a pretty good tank and an adequate healer. lawl. Quote:
2. I'd suggest they talk to their therapist and get their prescription changed, and possibly start doing talk therapy. Barring that, I'd advise them to start cutting out things that make them unhappy and start focussing on things that are important to their self-esteem. 3. Not precisely, though I do admire certain of my friends immensely and wish I could do some of the things they do, or live the way they do. So, respect and envy, but not to the extent that I wish I were more like them. I just wish I could fit some of the things into my life that they do in theirs. And there are one or two friends I outright covet, but that's another matter. ____________________ 1. If your partner was depressed that they didn't get what they'd wanted for Christmas, would you go out and buy it for them, even if it meant spending too much money and risking a very tight budget for the next month or two? 2. If you didn't know how your mate does certain recipes and you want to surprise them by making one of their dishes for them, would you risk getting it wrong by guessing the parts you don't remember properly, or would you scour the internet for a better idea, even if time was running out? 3. What is the oldest musician or musical ensemble/group you enjoy listening to regularly? |

1. I'd discuss the idea with said partner first, especially if the tight budget affects hir as well as you. Also, depending on the gift in question, I'd scour Craigslist or eBay for a good deal.
2. Probably the latter, or cook one of my own invented recipes. 3. If we're talking performers rather than composers, then probably Frank Sinatra. ~~~ 1. Generally, what are you more sure about: what you want, or what you don't want? 2. Are you curious about the kinds of things people say about you behind your back, or would you just rather not know? 3. What kind of character do you prefer playing in a game: one who is just like you (if not you yourself), or one who's nothing like you at all?

2. I'd definitely be curious just because from my own experience I've not seemed to have many enemies. I bet there were a few wolves in sheeps clothing though. 3. Tough question. I suppose it depends what role the character has in the game and its story. If they're a voiceless avatar such as Gordon Freeman or Chell then I don't think it matters hugely how similar they are to you but if it's someone like Niko Bellic or Jade where their personalities have a tangible effect on the unfolding story then I wouldn't like to subsitute myself for them because it's their story and I think that's much more interesting than playing like or as myself. --- 1. Do you have a problem with people trying their hand at a specialist subject without doing their homework? 2. Should everybody write about their thoughts? 3. 1. It makes me somewhat sad and baffled that people attempt such things, particularly when they can potentially cause harm. I've always been a RTFM kinda gal.

2. I really don't care. I think I did when I was younger, but these days, I just assume people will think what they like, and it won't affect my life one way or another. My success and happiness are not predicated on whether lots of people like me or not. 3. I generally prefer playing characters that aren't entirely unlike me, but are different enough that I don't feel like it's too close but not correct. Quote:
2. Write about whatever you like. Words are free and ideas want to be shared. Communication is pretty much the only thing we have that can make us better and more responsible human beings. Only through hearing others' points of views can we grow and learn acceptance. 3. 1. No, but I've had "Sugar Town" stuck in my head for the past day or so.
2. Is Every Day The Same Dream accessible? That's the most recent game I've played. 3. I haven't, but I can't speak for anyone else here. *** 1. In your opinion, what does it mean for a game to be accessible? For instance, does it just need to be easy to learn to play, or does it also need to be easy to finish? 2. How different does someone have to be from you for you not to have empathy for them? (Please note that having empathy for a person is not the same as liking them.) 3. How similar does someone have to be to you for you to be able to feel like you can speak for them?

1. "A minute to learn - a lifetime to master" is a slogan written on the box of a board game called Othello. (I've seen a computer version of it called Reversi.) That's very accessible in one sense of the word, and ideal for that kind of game. Not a great concept for an adventure game. (Or any game with a plot that matters, I think. Those should be finishable without the need for mastery.*) But maybe the basic idea of simple rules that can be used in more complex ways can be applied to most kinds of games. It certainly seems to feature in games praised for their gameplay. * On the other hand, you don't have to master a board game to be able to finish it either. You only have to know the rules and play against someone not too distant from your skill level in order to have fun playing the game to the end. 2. I don't know. I'd like to think that I'd be able to have empathy for anyone, but if tested, that probably wouldn't hold true. 3. That's the wrong question. It's not a matter of similarity, but a matter of how well I know the person. -- 1. What was the highlight of your past week? 2. Do you like snow? 3. (Borrowing an earlier question of Lee's: ) What period of your home town's history do you think would be the most interesting to reenact in a virtual environment?

1. Of course. I'm pretty much already there.
2. Don't look at me; I didn't make the rules as to what constitutes sanity and what doesn't. That said, it's important for me to be driven to pursue my goals, but at the same time be open to new experiences. 3. Of course it would make me feel guilty. But what would hurt the most would be the knowledge that my friends don't understand me -- especially given that I'm very selective about who I truly befriend in the first place. *** 1. The Olympics are being held in your city; do you feel annoyed, excited, or indifferent? 2. What do you think of the iPad? 3. Who was the last fictional character you had a crush on?

2. I think nothing of it . But seriously, I can see that it's an interesting machine for many people who just want to mail and surf the web.
