1. I find that optimism is more likely to lead to pleasant surprises, but I'll pick that option in either case. It's more fun to be optimistic.
2. Biggest risk? I can't think of anything really risky, so I'll say "studying music". It's not the safest thing to study if you want a job afterwards, but so far I've been lucky. 3. Yes. ---- 1. Is silly usually a good thing? 2a. (If you answered yes above.) Even if it's someone being silly next to you? (I.e. not just in games and movies.) 2b. (If you answered "no".) Why not? 3. 1. Generally old-school, but content matters to me more than the time in which something was made.
2. I like my art to be abstract and my conversations with other people to be literal. Makes for a lot less confusion and misunderstanding that way. 3. There's a time and place for both. *** 1. Are you actually good at adventure games? 2. Do you like it when poems rhyme? 3. Do you honestly believe that there's someone out there who will make your life heaven? Because, you know, that's a lot to expect from one person. I, for one, doubt that I would ever be able to live up to such a high standard.

1. I'm fairly good so long as they're actually logical. When they're not I get annoyed (I'm looking at you, Moment of Silence).
2. Yes. Poems don't have to rhyme, but I always think that a genuinely good rhyming poem trumps a good poem that doesn't rhyme. 3. No. Mainly because I'm not entirely sure that there's someone out there, but also because nobody is perfect. ________ 1. What is your favourite poem? 2. 2. "I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus" makes me giggle, especially since I always used to think it was about marital infidelity. 3. Temporarily, I'm up for trying my hand at living just about anywhere. 1. I generally think that I annoy everyone, but I tend to spend my time socialising with people who are my age or a bit younger. Mind you, this has become less true at university, as there are fewer younger people around.
2. Yes... my mother and father are still happily married! It seems to just involve not discussing religion at home and tolerance of people heading off to church or whatever. 3. I never deal in absolutes. ________ 1. If you could pick any period of your life so far to return to, which would it be, and why? 2. No, no, girls crush on teachers too. In my case, however, not until junior high.
I'll let someone else answer your questions, seeing as I've never watched enough Star Trek to do so properly.
