1. In the literal sense, not so much; in the metaphorical sense, very. I would like the things I create to be enjoyed by generations to come (if that's at all possible), but I couldn't care less if people wind up forgetting what I look like.
2. Assuming there would be a way for me to know this had happened, I'd be amused. It would be a true testament to all those preservatives I'd have consumed in my lifetime. 3. I don't really have a homogenous culture, but I suppose I like the music from the various cultures I've been raised in enough, though I'm not sure I'd be able to sing them all that well. I generally enjoy world music, anyway. *** 1. Do you ever feel like a lab rat in a social science experiment? 2. A rabbi, a priest, a horse, the tooth fairy, and Trep walk into a bar. What's the punchline? 3. Name a forum member you would like to watch tremble in their skin.

2. I think Trep should answer this one. 3. I will tell them that in a private message. Too personal to post in the forums. ---- I pass the questions on to Trep, if he wants to answer them. |

FYI, these questions weren't actually directed at Trep. They were merely inspired by his post. Hence, anyone can and should feel free to answer them.

Well, since no one seems to want to answer Squinkies questions I will make up some new ones:
1. Do you sometimes go to the toilet just to get some rest? 2. Spring is here! What's your opinion? 3. How far do you and your friends go back? I mean: how long have you been friends? |

1. Where do you vacation?
2. Do you have good manners? 3. Favorite TV show? 1. It depends on how good the year is, but generally, we just like to go to places that we've not visited before. 2. My manners are too fine to acknowledge such a thing. 3. 30 Rock. If I weren't a hetero married woman, I would throw myself at Tina Fey. 1. Glossy or matte finish photos? 2. Do you like to read before going to sleep? 3. Would you rather have a massage or or a new game? |

1. Textual descriptions.
2. I sure do, if I've got a good book on me. 3. New game! New game! (the predictable geek answer) *** 1. What would make you feel less uncomfortable: a massage from a complete stranger, or a massage from an acquaintance you know under non-massage-related circumstances? (Neither of these people, I might add, are people you particularly find physically attractive.) 2. Do you buy top-of-the-line gadgets, even knowing they'll no longer be top-of-the-line next month? 3. Do you generally like having a lot of stuff?

2. Do you buy top-of-the-line gadgets, even knowing they'll no longer be top-of-the-line next month? 3. Do you generally like having a lot of stuff? 1. I am most comfortable with a stranger, mostly because I don't really want an acquaintance to have such intimate information and I don't care what strangers say about me. 2. I am not so much concerned with having the first version as I am with having the best. 3. I enjoy spending money on items that I will use frequently--for example, I don't mind paying for high thread count linens, because when we get into bed at night, I appreciate the purchase all over again. But consumption for the sake of itself, no. That seems kind of pathetic to me. 1. At what age do boys cease enjoying the setting off of borderline-illegal fireworks? 2. What do you think is sexier, a sense of humor or a sense of style? 3. Can you whistle on-key? |

2. Yes I have. I have a hard time dealing with my sister since I cannot tolerate the way she treat our parents. I've tried to understand her these last 20 years, but now I just try to have as little as possible to do with her. Sad really. 3. No. I only buy games I'm interested in playing. ---- 1. How do you cope with co-workers/other students at school that you just can't stand even though you have to deal with them on a regular basis? 2. How do you cope with family members that you can't stand? 3. Do you get emotionally involved in your work? If so, how does it affect you?

2. I do both. It really depends on the recipient. My husband and I treated each other to a hot air balloon ride for our anniversary one year, and I usually give my brother-in-law a restaurant gift card because he says he doesn't need any more "stuff." My girlfriend gave me two days in her condo in Cape May for my birthday last year, and several times I've given friends a gift certificate for a massage. 3. Not at work, simply because there are few men in the elementary schools. I did have a crush on one of my professors in college, but, then, so did most of the females in my class. *************** 1. Do you get your news from TV, newspapers, news magazines, or the internet? 2. What is your favorite kind of weather? 3. Have you ever performed onstage?

2.) No. I have always enjoyed being alone and get quite contentious if I am deprived of time alone. 3.) Retirement, appliance replacements, holidays, daughter's college fund--you name it, I'm probably saving for it. 1.) Do you waltz? 2.) Are you a joiner--clubs, classes, boards, et al? 3.) Do you like to face things head-on, or do you prefer to avoid conflict in hopes that whatever it is will resolve itself? |
