No, not gay. Sorry. I meant it as just 'weird' and 'unorthodox'...

And by 'outlawed' I mean that the voting districts borders were redrawn recently in such a way to make it impossible for liberals to be elected in them.

Just for those interested, Todd's opinions on the war:

Quote:
>> I have no idea how you can say that about the Iraq war. It's not really our business.

I don't think it was originally, but the U.S. has already been involved for over 30 years, our allies have been longer, and we've all been a part of Saddam's taking power, staying in power, and then having the world keep him in power after the Gulf War I.

The U.N. wanted to keep him in power because France, Germany, and others want the cheap oil, and it looks like some of their corrupt officials were on the take with the oil-for-food program. These are socialist nations with necessarily crippled economies that don't want to compete with the U.S. or other more capitalistic nations on the free market. They'd rather keep a brutal tyrant in charge who kills, tortures, and mass-buries his own people, and they have their own citizens brainwashed enough to think that the U.S. is in the wrong even when the U.S. freed them from their own similar mistakes in the last century.

We helped create these problems, and only we could solve them. There's so much more to say, but I don't have all night.
