How's that? No one's actually talked about sex yet, just the lack of it.

But I think what lacey was complaining about was how people start practically *having sex* in the threads, always *enclosing actions in asterisks* to denote that they aren't talking but doing, and *flirting* to almost-embarassing degrees. If not, then my bad, but that's what I particularly find uncomfortable. I don't think this thread has actually done anything it wasn't meant to do yet, but that's just me.

I was hoping that it wouldn't even get mentioned, though. Of course, I now know that that is quite literally impossible for these forums...

Anyhow, NWN2 does run fairly slowly. I had to turn some graphics settings down.

That's a little hard when you've put the word sex in the title of the thread. It's like telling people not to look at something. Everybody's going to look.

Also, I assumed this thread was about celibacy. It's a little misleading.

And let's see, something totally un-sex related... Well, I'm having trouble finding work. That's getting a little frustrating, but then it's not exactly something I'm unfamiliar with.

Otherwise though, I'm doing pretty well. I had cheese fondue the other night which tends to put a smile on my face for about a week or so.

As much as I agree in principle with the contempt for turning each topic into the cyber-flirt, where are those sex-derailed threads, Robert? Recently, I mean, as I believe you haven't been prompted to start this thread by something that happened two or three weeks ago. Aside from the Squinky & Lee soap, which is annoying in its omnipresence but not particularly explicit, I don't know what you are talking about.

Also, I'd agree with Flyboy that putting "no sex" in the title is bound to be as successful as telling people not to think of an elephant. And if it somehow works, you are aware it will only provide potential future sex-talkers with a "You have your No Sex Thread, so leave us alone." argument?

Yea, you're right AFGNCAAP. Things have quieted down. But I can't deny that there was a point when I was seriously considering leaving because of all the needless sex happening in several threads at once (and other things not necessarily related to that but not necessarily not not related). I love the people here but I swear they must all be really sexually frustrated. I also can't deny that I've contributed some to it, but mostly in joking because of all the sex.

And I agree that every topic here sooner or later shifts towards sex, and although I personally don't mind it, it's understandable how that can get a bit frustrating for some. Sex can be fun to talk about, but there are other things out there. Like oral sex.
