What's up with Mixnmojo.com?

What the title says: What's up with Mixnmojo.com right now?

They seem to be offline more than they are usually right now.

Are they updating or something? Because I would have to visit the LucasArts Soundtrack page right now.

I'm not sure that we know yet :frown:.

Well, I hope it's sorted out soon.

I doubt it's domain name registration thingy problems. The LucasArts Soundtrack site and mixnmojo were available without problem (though it might have been a bit more slow than it is anyway most of the time) for some time yesterday evening.

Mixnmojo

Does anyone know what has happened to our beloved Mojo? For the last few days, I have been unable to get to it, any connected sites(such as Razputin's Domain), or even LucasForums for that matter.

Legolas813 10-16-2006 05:24 PM

Yeah, I don't know. They all seem to be down.

Udvarnoky 10-16-2006 05:31 PM

I can access LucasForums fine.

Murray the Chao 10-16-2006 05:46 PM

Well, I can't.

Something's apparently up with their server. Or so I heard second-hand from Jake.

jp-30 10-16-2006 06:21 PM

Reliable sources suggest it was these pesky kids who are to blame...

lucasforums doesn't share a server with mojo.

Murray the Chao 10-16-2006 08:26 PM

I can get onto LucasForums via a proxy, but not my usual IP address.

Jake 10-16-2006 09:29 PM

It sounds like the LFNetwork server that hosts Mixnmojo and Samandmax.net is having some major problems. "The server's boot loader has been corrupted" is what I was told by one of the LucasForums admins. I'm pretty disappointed as this means that both Mixnmojo and Samandmax.net will be offline on the day Sam & Max hits GameTap :( It does continue Mixnmojo's fine tradition of going 100% offline the moment big news hits though. It's done it pretty much on the dot for the past six years. Impeccible timing.

jp-30 10-17-2006 12:06 AM

Aww Jake, we wouldn't have it any other way.

Legolas813 10-18-2006 06:28 AM

Can anybody access http://www.scummvm.org/ ?

I just get a blank page using that link, but the http://scummvm.sourceforge.net/ link still seems to work.

I think it was a preemptive strategy to shut down mojo just before the release of Culture Shock, the server was not ready for more than 10 hits per day ;)

Nothing is up, it's all down.

Terramax 10-19-2006 01:31 PM

what the hell is this site anyway, if you don't mind me asking?

Wormsie 10-19-2006 01:39 PM

LucasArts/Double Fine/etc fansite.

Legolas813 10-19-2006 02:52 PM

The regular http://www.scummvm.org/ web address seems to be back up and running now.
