I bought a couch, a chair and a lamp today. New furniture, woot! It's fun to shop for furniture.
Because the couch had been standing in the shop for more than a year already (most of that time in storage) and the chair was a tiny bit damaged I got a HUGE discount on both of them, so I could afford the luxury.

I like the couch and lamp, and I love the chair!
But, what will happen with the red couch?

The red couch has been so mistreated by Annabel and me (well, mostly by me) that its end has come too soon. So it will be replaced by the black one. Actually everything I bought replaces something. And I still need to find a table but those are either extremely expensive or ugly for some reason, so finding one will take longer than finding the other stuff.

I'm waiting for the obligatory tinkered-with next release. Or at least a price drop. The reviews of that box set are good, though.

I was going to buy that, but then I saw clips on YouTube of all the new changes they made since the DVDs I have, and it really put me off. I also remembered that I'm trying to avoid watching Star Wars again for a decade, as I've seen it so many times now that it's predictable. I'm sure there'll be another different version out by the time I'm ready to watch it again.
