Thank you all! It was quite a funny story, we both really like IKEA, and often on our anniversary, we´ve been there, not always on purpose but still. So I proposed to her on IKEA, when we were trying some beds and matresses! =)

That's odd. My 10th anniversary was over 10 years after I got engaged.

Congratulations. That is a nice pair of rings you chose there. Attractive without being over-decorated.

Yeah, but we count our anniversary from the day we became a couple!

That's what I thought when I saw them. But I couldn't translate it to normal English like Step can, him being a native speaker and such.

I always said I'd never buy one, but I simply have nowhere to put any more books and it's inconvenient to carry a couple around for when travelling or waiting on appointments, etc and I don't always feel like playing DS so I caved and bought an ebook reader. looked at some cheaper alternatives but the ones I found had something of a dodgy reputation
halfway through my second book on it and surprised by how easy it is to get used to. slightly annoying that I had to jailbreak it just so I could change the screensaver though

Cool, I have a Kindle too. I love it! I didn't even know you can jailbreak it. But why would you want to change the screensaver? It's not that it uses any current when the screen is not changed. During the last three months I recharged my Kindle once.

it's kind of petty I know, but I just didn't like the default images. some of the authors I'm embarrassed to admit I've never even heard of before, and I'd much prefer something personalised. so I threw in a few pictures from Longest Journey, Dragon Age, Discworld, a "Don't Panic" and a few others. I was actually impressed at the quality of the graphics too

just ignore the flash glare from the camera

You are all amateur splurgers. I went into HMV last week and bought absolutely everything.

Spoiler:
Absolutely was a surreal sketch show that appeared on UK Channel 4 in the late 1980s and early 1990s. Absolutely Everything is a box set containing all four series and an extras disc.

(Score-writing software. A much earlier version was used for my shockingly mediocre Christmas Quest music.)

I am now poor. Even after upgrade pricing.

@RLacey

How is Sibelius 7? It's not that long since I upgraded to 6 (half price sale and all that back at the beginning of the year). Is 7 much better/worth it?

Actually, I think you look really cool in them. Kind of bad ass! It's the kind that goes over your reading glasses right!?
