I hesitate to make such a cheap joke, but: there's your problem...

Seriously though, what little time I've had with the system has been nothing but incompatibility and other user-unfriendliness. I'm not upgrading any time soon.

On XP at least, Wacom is king.

I bought myself a PS3 and an HDTV, so I could play GTAIV, and I'm loving it.

One of my favourite features of the PS3 is that I can wirelessly share files from my laptop with it, so now when I download films I can stream them to the PS3 and watch them on the TV, it's really neat.

I've been buying new clothes in preparation for my vacation. Shirts, pants, shorts, and shoes, I've been finding some nice new things. It's a good day when I can find a pair of nice fitting pants, and Kenneth Cole makes good fitting pants.

I went on a movie splurge. I have seen two of the three, but own none of them on DVD.

By Ben Elton? That book is outrageously funny!

I just bought a few maps of Stockholm and surroundings, and Blind faith, also by Ben Elton.

Have you ever read 'The First Casualty' by Ben Elton?
It's really different to his other stuff.

No I haven't. I did buy his latest work, Blind faith, recently though...

This week I spent quite a lot of money. First I bought two sets of shiny new cutlery. I now have knives that work, spoons without sharp edges, and hopefully the stuff doesn't rust in the dishwasher.
Yesterday I bought two comforter sets in purple and red satin. Very nice, though a little red
And today I bought a book about Dutch architects!

Metal Gear Solid 4 - PS3

The Orange Box - PS3

Assassin's Creed - PS3

Okami - Wii

Queer as Folk USA Season 1 - DVD
(I must confess, I have this strange habit of buying DVDs I'll never watch. I've already seen the entire series, and really enjoyed it, so I don't need the DVD, but I like the idea of owning it nevertheless.)

All for around £150, lovely.

You're not the only one. I have DVDs I bought a year or more ago and I still haven't watched. I find watching movies a waste of time actually, but I still buy them every once in a while.

I've been buying a lot of music lately. I'm probably one of the last people on earth who still buys CDs instead of just downloading music.

I've grown to like hip hop and R&B quite a bit over the years. I like all kinds of music actually. Pop is also a bit of a guilty pleasure for me.

I got the new album from Madonna (Hard Candy)

That British singer Leona Lewis (Spirit)

Gnarls Barkley (The Odd Couple) I LOVE them.

The new one from Seal (can't remember title at the moment) Still love his voice.

the new one from Alicia Keys (As I Am I think?)

a group called Royksopp (not sure if I spelled that right)

I've just been itching for new music lately and I also enjoy good dance type music with interesting beats.

I'm not a splurge person as a rule. (even most of my gaming pleasure comes via happy finds in charity shops)
However, about a month ago I saw someone wearing a frock coat like this and decided that I wanted one.

You're very handsome Step!
You just need to iron it to remove the creases.

Of course, but does the coat look nice as well?

I'm told if I leave it hanging for a while I'm told they should drop out (it had only been unpacked about 6 hours earlier when that pic was taken) but if I do have to iron it I'm going to have to be VERY careful.

These beautiful Tabi Sneakers are soon going to be in my hands...well, relatively soon, as the site says they take about one week to be ready for shipping. And I only just ordered yesterday. But oh gods, they're going to be mine! ^_^

These are probably the most expensive shoes I've *ever* bought. I guess the fact that they're handmade is probably part of the reason, though probably not only. But at least the shipping from Japan is free. And they're worth it!

*feels a sudden urge to comment on these shoes*

They look very nice Jaz, but how comfortable are they with that split in the front?
