Wow. I didn't know that.

That is awesome. I think I might get one of those too. I hate reading on my computer, but since I have long started to drown in print outs (I do throw them away at times, but I think that really is a waste of paper. At least I try to use the back of the pages for notes and scribbles before throwing them away, but I think it's still a waste of paper.) of stories, so I avoid printing it out these days, leaving me only with the hated screen reading. But I wonder, does it allow you to upload your own docs? I read somewhere that it does display docs, but it didn't say if it only displays those you've bought from certain websites, or also other ones. I am not intending to steal books or anything (stealing books is something I'd never do. I love books, and I want to support authors at all costs), but I have lots of stories written by friends and acquaintances that I still have to read, and if I could load it on one of those, it would be perfect. So, does it work with any type of doc or rtf file? - :) :) :) :) :) :) :) |

My Naal'Suul plushie arrived today.
http://img444.imageshack.us/img444/6074/naalsuulfe5.jpg It's much larger than I had imagined it (It's about 30 cm), and very cute. *huggles her plushie* - :) :) :) :) :) :) :) |
They look scary!

Yeah, Naal'Suul is a bit scary. She's barely human (well, barely Drow) any longer, though that's not her fault. Someone caused a demon summoning to go horribly wrong. All children from her clan apart from her were killed, and she got tainted with the shard of a demon (hence the red eyes) so badly, that she doesn't even feel pain any longer (at one point in the book she breaks her finger, and she doesn't feel it at all.). Sooner or later the demon will consume her soul, and she'll be but a shell. But nevertheless, she's the most kind of the gang of kids she hangs out with, I think. She's just very creepy for everyone around her. Isn't she cuddly?! ^_^ - :) :) :) :) :) :) :) |
Poor girl. She deserves to be cuddled :)

I just got a package from Micro-Mark. Included goodies are:
Computer printer which "prints" photo-etched metal parts. This thing is sooooooo freakin' awesome. http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n...hett/83123.jpg Paper for ink jet printers, that allows you to print your own decals. http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n...hett/82272.jpg A set of Swiss needle files. http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n...hett/33108.jpg And a metal ingot, that can be melted down and poured into a mold. http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n...hett/83092.jpg Merry Christmas and happy birthday, me! :D |
That looks very cool! What kind of metal do you pour?

What about teeth? I want to perform back street dentistry, and that sounds like it would be good for fillings.

Hmmm, lead fillings. That will definitely ensure a long life for your patients. Oh, and if wood survives, teeth should survive too. Bone takes a bit higher temperature to burn than wood. - :P :P :P :P :P :P :P |

I have no idea. Hopefully I won't get cancer from working with it. :P

I bought myself the Special Edition version of Crysis.
I am a bad man. |
Blade Runner (Five-Disc Ultimate Collector's Edition)
I have yet to get past the final cut print, but it was gorgeous.
