How long does the battery last?

About 3 or 4 weeks.

Seriously it depends on usage. The screen draws no power unless it changes page so they say it can do 7,500 page changes per charge.

That is a pretty cool device. I've never seen one of those. How long does it take to change a screen completely (for instance when you flip a page)?

There is a noticable delay 1-2 secs, but you get used to it.

How easy is it one the eyes I wonder? I hate reading on the computer and tend to print stuff out if it goes beyond a certain length. Paper just reads more comfortably...

Eink reflects light like paper it doesn't emit light like LCD screens.

That means it's incredibly easy on the eyes.

You can't read in the dark though without a light source.

This is a bit of a random question, and might not be the best place to ask it, but The Lone Gunmen is on special offer on DVD, and I'm wondering if it's worth getting. Any thoughts?

IN the absence of any more concrete evaluation method (hopefully someone will be able to comment on the DVD itself) I flip a coin. If I don't like the side that comes up then I have my answer. :)

The Lone Gunman would be worth it if you enjoyed them in X-Files. I can see why the series tanked, but it had a mildly interesting start and cast of characters/side-kicks an female interests.

But it might be best to just rent it before committing.

When I saw these I had to buy them. Not exactly a splurge, as they were a bargain at £10 each. Annoyingly the smallest size they came in was medium, but a reliable source tells me they can be shrunk as they're 100% cotton, so I'll have someone take care of that.

I've read that from the library. You're right, the book is hilarious, though it's hard to say why. It's a very English thing.

One of my favourites is the black-and-white photo of the small car park (can't remember which town). It just gets better the more you think of it. Why take a photo of a car park at all -- and, if so, why such an unattractive shot? Who decided it ought to be published as a postcard? Who saw it, thought "ooh!", and bought it?

I've been wanting the Assassin's Pouch for a while now, ever since they came out. Then when I tried it out, the loop for the carabiner clip literally unravelled. The replacement just came a few minutes ago, and I'm sure it'll be fine.

It's the symbol for the Brotherhood of Nod, one of the factions in Westwood Studios' iconic 1995 RTS game Command & Conquer, and its sequels, Command & Conquer: Tiberian Sun, and Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars.
