@ tsa: looks like Geert Wilders is successfully making a mess of things by willingly blowing up all budget negotiations and making the government fall.
It appears similar to what Alexander Decroo did in Belgium three years ago, and what Bart De Wever continuously did here for two years after that...
Although the Wilders thing appeared to come out of the blue more. Or am I wrong in thinking that?

In other news: after a mere four episodes of The Wire, the wifey has officially given up, leaving me to watch the other 56 episodes by myself...
It's all a bit too slow for her taste... where I happen to like that approach...

You're right, this was quite unexpected. The current situation is very bad for the Netherlands. We're in a crisis and now our government has to negotiate with the opposition for a new budget for 2013. In the meantime our Prime Minister has asked our Queen to fire our gouvernment and we get new elections asap. Confusing and fun to watch!

Today I get back to work on the album, though my head's not really in it the way I need it to be. Feeling a bit squirrelly. These days have not been good for my nerves.

OH! But I added groovy new album artwork to the album page yesterday. Tell me what you think:

All these Kickstarter projects have got me back here talking about adventure games again, which is nice.

My brother was there last year - and is there now, too - he said that Amsterdam was swimming in trash the following day While the Hague had been thoroughly cleaned by morning...

IIRC the people who collected the trash in Amsterdam were on strike last year.

I thought it was the Queen Mother's birthday, not the Queen's...

You should've posted Juliana's picture, then. Like so:

Our Queen's birthday is on January 31st but because it is so cold then she celebrates it with her people (that's me and 16 million other Dutchmen) on April 30th; her mother's birthday.

She probably was cleaning just before she was asked to pose for the picture.

Review scores for The Avengers are going through the roof. It's already at #29 in IMDb's Top 250!
All because of geeky Whedon-fanboys, imo.

Btw, on Friday, I'm going to go see The Cabin in the Woods (written by Joss Whedon) and then The Avengers (written and directed by Joss Whedon).
And have I mentioned yet that Firefly (written and directed by Joss Whedon) is probably my favourite TV-series of all time???
