I have a love-hate relationship with life.

If we go after the dictionary meaning of the word love I think we all have love in our life
Aslong as there is love around, even if its not in a relationship between (you and person number 2.) It is very meaningful and important not to forget the love around us. There is far too much expectations for people to find someone to breed/have a relationship with. I admire those who are fine with living alone! Last edited by MikeLXXXVIII; 07-11-2009 at 06:14 PM. |

My point was people forget about things around them and only focus on the aspect of getting laid and stuff. I doubt people around here think exacly that way since people seem definetly more mature here than at other forums. But I felt the need to make my point. Since loveless lives makes it a much darker less meaningful life resulting with suicide and many other things. I know I wouldn't manage my hardship if I didn't have the love around me. Well the women should be standing in line for such a charming guy like you Tsa! I guess there is something wrong with this world then if you don't see women gushing and fainting outside the garden while Annabel looks odd at the them (she is probably keeping them in check). But there can always be a happy ending hehe. |

Man, this thread got depressing really quick.
I just got back from spending a weekend with my Louie! It was so lovely. It was so great to be with him, and have some "alone time". It was so sweet, and we had a picnic at the lake by his house at sunset. It was the most romantic thing I've ever done. I'm not goin to tell you guys too much detail. But it was a lovely weekend.

I probably would, too, considering my numbers these days are imaginary.

Dear Blog Thingy,
Nanay came into my room and cried that she was going be all alone and helpless while I'm in San Francisco for a week doing the AIDS Walk and being with friends. I scolded her for it, reminded her that I asked her 2 months ago if she wanted to go with me and she can stay with my oldest sister's in the east bay, 35 minutes from S.F. She refused, saying she can't stand my brother-in-law, he's mean, etc. Then I reminded her - several times - that she had the opportunity to tag along with my brother D to Chicago when he leaves on Thursday on business and she can visit her daughters and grandchildren while I was also out of town for that week. She refused. And now my sister in Chicago just text messaged me stating that she herself asked Nanay to tag along with D, and still Nanay refused. Now she's going to be 'stuck' at D's house (5 minutes away) with her daughter-in-law who she doesn't like but is at least cordial with and she claims she'll be all alone and helpless, even though my niece L will be there too (she's on summer break). Blog Thingy, old parents are so f#&king high maintenance.

You guys don't mind if I tell you, right?
Well, like I said, I didn't get there until late Friday, and left around 9pm on Sunday. 8 times. I'm back now, and it has reminded me how much I miss him. I'm feeling pretty down. And my parents are being smothering, pressuring me to eat some more, etc, and I just feel so down, but not depressed, which is good.

Wonder if they come in alien sizes. Dear Blog Thingy, My sister made it known that her Turkish husband's childhood friends in Germany wanted to meet more of our family, specifically me. I wrote back: "Good Gawd, what have you been telling them about me???!" She replied, "That you're an intellectual, artistic gay of a guy but, basically, to hear another typical American accent to converse with. I slip occasionally - disadvantage of marrying a foreigner and talking to foreigners." Great. If/when I finally go there to visit they're gonna grill me to death. I didn't know my American accent had any value to it. At least I now have a standing invitation for a place to stay whenever I go there.

((Trep and Nanay)) Isn't it amazing how roles reverse themselves as you go further along in life. Nanay being Catholic I bet really knows how to guilt you too!
And I do not need to know details Katie. Louie will tell me all about it later *winkwink* |

He won't tell you, because we'll be too busy "sucking face".
Only a month now until school starts back up, and I can be with Louie and my friends again! Your Nanay, Trep, sounds awesome.
