Being attached to your boyfriend at the hip is not something I'd personally recommend, and I mean that in the nicest way possible. Seriously. If the guy you're with has problems with you having your own space, then I don't think he's worth it. You shouldn't feel like you're "pushing him away" if you're not together all the time. It isn't healthy to be so codependent.

Yeah, well, who are you to talk, Squinky? It's not like YOUR experience with relationships is all that comprehensive, considering that your last one ended like four years ago.

Squinky-thanks for the advice. I know it's not good for us, but it's not like he's suffocating me. I like to be clingy too, and we never get tired of each other. So it's not like he's forcing me or anything.

And we've tried to sleep apart in our respecitve beds before, but he said he missed me and couldn't really get to sleep without me.

And I jsut found out my beloved "Red Dwarf" is coming BACK on the air, and I can't watch it...

I'm glad that you are feeling some better. yes please stay home and drink lots of fluids and maybe some warm tea with honey ( if you not allergic ) and just rest. I hope that you feel better soon.
