Maybe it's like the urban legend with Mikey from the Life cereal commercials. He was supposed to have eaten Pop Rocks and drank soda and died because his stomach exploded (which wasn't true).

Also, if you follow the link to Snopes.com that Bulldog supplied, you'll see that the article includes a link to said advertisement.
And the article also explains to the American audience that "Kellogs' Frosties" is the name by which "Kellogs' Frosted Flakes" are known in the UK. -

The Threadâ„¢ will die.

I thought this advert was ancient.
Mind you, I don't watch huge amounts of television nowadays. Thankfully, if this is the stage that advertising has reached. |

I think this is one of those rumours that constantly updates. There are generations of (non) suiciding Frosties kids out there.

Mocked for his speech impediment and appalling taste in clothes?
Couldn't he at least have got Siegfried at the same time?

Cute boy.
I watched it with sounds off, though, so maybe I would have hated him had the sounds been on.

Me neither, I even heard them talking about it on Radio One a day or two ago. They were asking people to text in if they hated the kid randomly.

Well at least it happened just before he sang "plate" (to rhyme with great)
It looked like a damned BOWL to me. Possibly "they're gonna taste mole" wasn't doing it for them.
