Just an update:
Here's the design of my pool (yes, I went the pool and hottub route). The yellow is the deck, and it goes around the side of the house where I'm going to put up a retractable awning. The spa and fountains are raised about a foot. Last edited by Once A Villain; 07-06-2006 at 12:12 PM. |

Well, this pic is just from my cell phone so the quality is crap, but here's where my pool is so far. A before and after, ha ha. Obviously without the deck and pebble bottom, and the lack of water and landscaping, it doesn't look great yet. But it will. The stone work looks so much better in person though.

It'll be nice to see it once the landscaping is finished and the pool/tub is filled. Interesting layout. Your original description had me concerned (privacy issues), but it looks like it'll work quite well.

Thanks for the comments guys, I'll post some final pics when it's all done. For now, take a look at the plan above because I changed something at the last minute. There's so much landscaping room on the side of the pool and deck (where the easement is) that I decided to get rid of the smaller landscaping areas on the right side of the plan. That is all deck now, providing more space. What do you guys think?
