I had to take care of a little rabbit last weekend, and now I ponder: shall I get myself one or two little rabbits to have some company when I'm alone at home? Luckily I have to take care of my little rabbit friend again in early august, when its owners will be on vacation for two weeks.

When I was 11 I had a pet bat he was so cute, I called him Boris, after Boris Karloff [I was a weird kid]. I met Boris when I use to climb onto the roof of our house and eat the nectarines from the nectarine tree.He was there munching on the fruit as well and he wasnt afraid of me, he was so cute I would let him climb up my cloths and he would sit on my head, I miss that little guy.

And the rabies. Though I agree, I'd love to have a bat as a pet too. ^_^ -

My new avvie is Mister Rabbit, whom I introduced earlier. He is now at my place for about two weeks, while his owners are on vacation. I like him a lot, and am pondering whether to get one or two rabbits for myself afer he is back home.

I suggest one..... or you might have a lot of bunnies
You could get two rabbits and just make sure that they are the same sex, you know so you don't end up with like a million bunnies

Mr. Rabbit almost chewed through his first network cable yesterday evening. Luckily it still works, but I have to keep a closer eye on the little rascal when he's out of his cage! And you have beautiful kids Melanie! |

Oooooh! Beautiful kids Mel! Trinity really catches my eye. He/She is majestic.
@tsa We had a rabbit when the kids were small. We found out he nibbled on cables and even clipped off the cell phone charger (not attached) once. All and all rabbits are very nice pets. Cute, silent and often quite cuddly. When you do get one, don't hesitate to post a picture. (speaking about pets: I'm reading about Sophie and the belly button spider. I just started and it's intriguing! I'll let you know more of my impressions when I've finished it.)

Yesterday I finished the fourth story of Sophie in Dutch. It now has to be scrutinized by other people and corrected before I will put it on the website. Then I will translate it to English, as I did with all the other stories. |

I thank you and my children thank you.
We have made it to Ohio (the drive was a loooooong one but everyone travelled very well). Shasta is still at my sister's in Illinois, though. When it came time to leave for the last leg of the journey on Sunday, she didn't want to come out of hiding. She's still been elusive, but there is food, water and a litter box at my sister's. Hopefully they'll catch her and my dad will bring her when he comes to visit me a week from this Thursday. |

Since Paul took to kidnapping any plush town in my room within his reach, I decided to get him a plush toy of his own. But not just any kind of plush. He had particularly liked my three (sterile) Tribbles, so I figured, if my dog is a geek like me, he needs a proper geeky plush toy.
And I figured right, as Paul seems to absolutely love his Chibithulhu ^_^ : -

Today suddenly Annabel popped into my house.
She is 7 weeks old and very curious. I think we will get along fine. Last edited by tsa; 01-03-2009 at 08:11 AM. |
