Awesome. This comic store right next to my barber where I was planning on getting my hair cut tomorrow is part of the holiday.

There is actually a shop in Oxfordshire taking part, I've just discovered.

Shame that it's more than a little out of my way .

Welcome to the club, there's one in Frankfurt. Frankfurt is more than a little out of *my* way, even though I live in the area.

Well I got some comic books but unfortunately the store near me didn't have any of the ones I wanted (Preposterous Adventures of Ironhide Tom, Mr. Jean).

4 stores in my city took part in Free Comic Book Day. My 14-year-old cousin and I stopped off at L.A. Mood (where I have a membership) to pick up my bimonthly manga titles... He picked up an issue of Comic Book Digest featuring previews of two fantasy titles, Twin Blades and Lullaby.

Did anyone get the Donald Duck book? That's the one I would have wanted. There was a Don Rosa story in there.
