We obviously fail to communicate, but you are just rude. You might want to fix your attitude.

Hey Ive been looking up the macbooks and I was wondering a few things

Can they Dual boot windows or is that only the desktops?
whats the selection of games like that can play on them? Especialy adventures, do the bone games work on macs OS or would I have to use windows?

And whats actualy so good about macs? are they just an alternative to PC's or is there something else?

I like mine just because it's different. I haven't even really done anything on it yet besides websurf and play chess.

I thought that might have been why, thats probably why I would go for a mac laptop instead of just getting another desktop

You can run Boot Camp on any of the existing Intel mac products (Mac mini, Macbook Pro, iMacs).

It's hard to explain what's so good about them if you haven't actually tried one. You need to spend a few days doing the things you usually do on one for it to become evident that the amount of design work that's gone into the OS is pretty incredible. And by that, I'm referring to useability and function, not the look, although the look is pretty nice too

You can buy any Intel-based Mac, download the Boot Camp Public Beta from www.apple.com , which is free, run the installer and setup an extra partition on your hard-drive dedicated to Win XP Pro or Home SP2. After that you can easily switch between Mac OS X and Windows. Both run at native speeds and there isn't really a downside, besides XP sucking badly. But it's a good OS for games. You'll soon find out that Mac OS X is superior to Windows in anything else but gaming. Starting with the intuitive, modern GUI, the stable UNIX-based system, and all the cool OS-features like the fast Spotlight search, the Exposé window manager and all the cool, free iApps from Apple, which come bundled with every Mac. Plus the security is much better on the Mac side: There aren't any viruses, dialers or trojan horses out there for Mac OS X. Some people claim that's not true, and there are security holes in OS X as well. This might be true under academic circumstances, but the "real world experience" sings a different tune. I don't know a single OS X user who ever catched a virus or something similar.

So, it's simply a no brainer: Get one of the best looking computers in the world together with both the best OS (Mac OS X) and a nice gaming console build-in as a secondary OS (XP) and rejoice.
