Weather: Cloudy, humid after rain this night, 7° C/45°F Activity: I´m about to start an hour of Scratches, then I´m off into town to get some groceries and wine. Apparel: Black jeans, red and white 'pirate' striped top Mood: Expectant: I´ve just decided to get back to work 25% starting May 15and my headmaster has 'created' a position (can´t find the proper expression)for me that will suit my needs perfect. The goal is for me to slowly increase my hours at work during next school year (end of aug-middle of june). Thoughts: Short term: I´m looking forward to this weekend. Christer came home yesterday evening after working out of town. Long term: It´s time for me to get back on track. But I hope I can hold my horses. I have a tendecy to speed up for no reason.

Location: Home, perched on the couch with my laptop. Weather: Overcast, 64°F (17°C), cool. Activity: Listening to the new North African dance music CD I just bought at work, AG forum. Apparel: Work uniform - maroon polo shirt, khakis, black socks. Will soon change to t-shirt and jeans. State of mind: Slightly distracted (from the music and expectations of this coming week). Mood: A little tired but relaxing into the early evening, a bit revitalized by the music. Thoughts: Awesome! I have a new date with this fellow who loves to game, owns a PS2 and wants me to come over with my Xbox and a couple of my favourite games. He voicemailed me this morning telling me he can't wait to see me next week and it's rare to find 'a cute guy who loves to game for a few hours over a beer'. Unfortunately I won't be able to see my best friend from Chicago, a flight attendant for American Airlines, when he has an overnight layover here in L.A. He comes in later tonight and if I weren't working tomorrow I'd go see him for cocktails and stay overnight at his hotel. Damn!

Weather: It's dark out. It was majorly windy on my drive home over the bridge, though. Activity: Watching Nuovo Cinema Paradiso and browsing the ol' interweb. Apparel: shorts, a flying spaghetti monster shirt. State of mind: Tired, which preempts anything else. Thoughts: I wonder if there's any ice cream. |

State of mind: Relaxed, I'm not going to work this next Monday so I'm enjoying the long weekend. Mood: A little excited because my plans for a big trip are coming together nicely. Thoughts: This apple sure is nice, I wonder if I have mangos in the fridge.

Weather: I can hear rain on the window pane, though it's too dark to be able to see much (and my curtains are close anyway). Activity: Checking these forums, idling on IRC, checking where Magdalen is for May Day tomorrow. State of Mind: Tired, ever-so-slightly melancholy. Mood: Relaxed but with that little tinge of depression that strikes when I'm not doing something to distract me from it . Thoughts: I should probably go to bed if I'm going to get up at 5am. |

Activity: Staring at my Cinema Display, watching Steve Jobs' MWSF keynote (never seen that before), installing a Windows 2000 virtual machine in Parallels, surfing adventuregamers.com, moving a hell lot of data from my trusty old PowerBook to the new MacBook Pro, listening to VirginRadio on iTunes and drinking a lot of clear mountain water. State of mind: Wondering when I'll finally be able to write the bills I urgently need to pay my own bills again. |

Weather: 60 degrees, clear. Activity: Checking prices on travel and accomodations for June. Apparel: Black jeans, black T-shirt, no shoes. State of mind: Hopeful. Mood: Slightly irritated. Thoughts: Airfare prices skyrocketed along with gas prices a while back. They've since come down a bit, but not as much as I'd hoped they would. Maybe by checking them every day, I can force them to drop even lower.

Weather: A crisp, early morning. Currently a bit overcast, but it should brighten up. Activity: Listening to a Radiohead album (The Bends) while preparing a presentation. Apparel: Brown jeans, black top. State of mind: Reasonably happy. Thoughts: Woo, I'm awake during the daytime! Even if I have been awake, technically, since shortly before dawn! My sleep schedule is still bummed, but at least it's getting there! This is a good album, I don't know why I never bought it before. |

Location: Home, couch, laptop. Weather: Light fog, 58°F (14°C), very pleasant inside. Activity: AG forum, listening to some Steve Roach on Cryosleep radio (WinAmp), just finished playing some more Dreamfall. Apparel: Grey cotton t-shirt, navy blue jersey shorts. State of mind: calm, winding down, chill. Mood: Content, with a tinge of excitement building up for the week. Thoughts: I can't believe how much is happening and about to happen in my life since I've moved to L.A. More interestingly, most of it was decidedly triggered by me. Job, lifestyle shifts, family.....even romantic possibilities are now orbiting me. Today I worked my last day at the zoo, and next week I start the new job at the museum. I have two dates this week (one of them a gaming date!), possibly more in the near future. I'm making things happen and for the first time in a very long time I'm not scared. I'm not scared.

Weather: Warm and sunny. Very nice. Activity: Back from work, on the AG forums, waiting to play some game of watch some TV with my girlfriend. State of mind: calm, too calm... I need to listen to some music. Mood: Pretty good. It's a short week, I will go to a concert tomorrow, and there is supposedly no major problems ahead.

Location: Home, couch, laptop. Weather: Cloudy, 61°F (16°C), very nice. Activity: AG forum, eating Trader Joe's soft brownie cookies and fresh strawberries with chamomile tea, trying to decide whether to play some more Dreamfall. Apparel: white cotton t-shirt, dark grey jersey shorts. State of mind: A bit reflective, inundated with various thoughts and indecisions. Mood: Satiated (in a good way), calm and in the moment. Thoughts: My gaming date this afternoon turned out sweetly and funnily (we played on his PS2 and on my Xbox), but made me feel more up in the air about what I want. He basically told me he could see himself falling for me, as he is that type who, when he enjoys himself tremendously with someone, can intuit passion and a sense of belonging with that person. A very sweet and down-to-earth guy. We planned for cocktails out on Friday. Excellent potential friend, loyal and honest potential lover. Life is so complex, as am I. It all is.

location: In my little prison cell at university.
Weather - A bit cloudy, but there's still some blue sky. Activity: AG forum, but know I really must get up and do some stuff in a minute. Apparel: PJs (Like I said, I'm not properly up yet!) State of mind: Stressed and perplexed. Mood: Pretty depressed right now. Thoughts: Damn university! It would be so much easier and better if G could come up this weekend, but, as usual, his work are being B******s. As it is, I've got heaps of work to do in a very short space of time, and nothing to really look forward to this weekend now.. Really must get off AGs now and actually do something.... I may not be around for the next couple of weeks... |
