I loved Qbert. :D

I wish I could play Qbert on my DS. My life would be very close to complete if that happened.

Hi chaps,

I'm Chris the editor of Retro Fusion magazine.

The reason for just going into Gamestation is that it is a fan based publication that has gone semi-commercial and we are starting small - if the mag is a success then we will distribute wider :)

We have got the got the support of a number of retro celebs including the Oliver Brothers, Archer Maclean and Jon Hare and have some cracking articles for Issue 1 and can look forward to Jon Hare writing an article on Sex, Drugs and Rock and Roll in issue 2.

The magazine can also be purchased via the website - a pre-order system will be in place soon.

Issue 1 is going to the printers on the 20th March and will be in the Gamestation stores from early April.

Any questiosn, please fire away :P

Hi Chris! Welcome to the forum. :)

Glad to hear the magazine will be available through your site, too.

Hi there,

Issue 1 of Retro Fusion will be hitting ALL Gamestation stores throughout the UK w/c 10th April 2006. Very shortly you will be able to pre-order your copy of the magazine on the website and in doing so ensuring you receive Retro Fusion before it hits the high streets.

It's been a great ride getting Issue 1 done and dusted and along the way we have acquired a number of highly recognised names onto the team.

First is Archer Maclean of Dropzone, International Karate, Jimmy White's Snooker, and more recently, Mercury fame. Archer has written a 3 page article on his restoration of an original Pacman cocktail cabinet.

Andrew Oliver has written a 4 page article on how it was like for him and his brother Philip developing the Dizzy games back in the 80's.

We also have a number of recognised Retro Gamer freelancers on board - Craig Vaughan, Spanner Spencer and Andrew Fisher.

Look forward to hearing your feedback on the forum - how about popping in and saying hello :-)

Regards,

Boyo

Anybody know if there is anything about adventure games at all in this issue?

I bought the 1st issue from a Gamestation at Southampton when I was there. :)

It's a very nice magazine, lots of cool stuff inside it.
