Don Knotts
I just read earlier today that Don Knotts has died...he was 81...he died of pulmanory and respitory problems.
I am not ashamed to say that I have shed tears over this, but as Gen. Patton said, "It is foolish and wrong to mourn the men who died. Rather we should thank God that such men lived."

This possibly doesn't warrant its own thread, being hideously out of date, but I found out the other day that Jerry Juhl died a few months ago. He was the writer for The Muppet Show and wote for most of the Muppet movies as well (except the recent terrible ones). I was lucky enough to meet him a few years back when he gave a lecture in a course I was taking at the time. Really nice guy
