You mean K'Thonya's hair is coloured with a gradient? Why should that be bad? Could you be a bit more specific about that? In a tuturial The Lady posted some time ago (meaning she might have changed her techniques since then), she explained that at the beginning she used the burn and highlight tools to do shading. She now has set colours for the shadows and highlights of each character, and does the shading with the paintbrush tools. Nanashi's hair is still done with the highlight tool, though. The tutorial page did not include K'Thonya, so I don't know how she colours her hair. But then again, when that Tutorial was made, K'Thonya still had her old, undetailed hairstyle. A lot of the characters got a redesign, because Earthsong is being published, and thus there has to be a certain level of quality. Here is the picture I used for my avatar, by the way. Oh, and when I said that her hair is "metal", I was not talking about the colour. I quite literally meant that her hair is made of metal. (I wasn't sure if this came across correctly, earlier) -

*poketh Karmillo* The Loony Empress is not amused. Please tell me, or I will have to -convice- you the hard way, until I wouldn't dare to touch your remains with a standard issue ten foot pole.
You should not take it personal, of course. -

Hehe. It's tokyo 2040 that I'm watching. Gone through a few random series now, just finished Neon Genesis. That one started off well then it went apeshit and decided to no tmake any sense. I preferred it when it was kinda lighthearted and that woman got wasted at breakfast every morning and the kid and that annoying little slag argued loads. And wtf was up with that penguin??

Yes. And Karmillo said *something* is different because of that. He just won't tell what that something is. Oh, and before anyone asks, I also cropped the picture a bit. I've had blisters on my heels for most of this winter, because my boots are stupid, I have a geography exam tomorrow in which I will be required to write three essays on Human Geography as well as answer lots of multiple choice questions, and I am in a state of hyper-awareness (I hate it if I take my medication too late) today, so excuse me if I sound like I could the world. I imagine I look quite like my avatar at the moment -

^Don't skimp on sleep tonight - you'll perform better on your exam if you are well rested (i.e. don't pull a Robert Lacey and stay up til all hours ).

Did you read my mind? Actually I just thought about staying up, because I don't feel tired at all. Of course I will try sleeping, but if I can't sleep after an hour, then it's usually senseless. I just need a quick half hour nap around five, and then I am well rested in those cases. Good thing I slept well last night. Though I do hope I will be able to sleep. The only thing is the thing with being aware of all things around me. Imagine having a hearing aid in each ear - Normally your brain filters the unimportant things out, and only pays attention to the important sounds. But with a hearing aid you get everything amplified (though I think these days the better ones don't have that problem. I don't know.). But don't worry, that's actually normal for me. -

7up shirt? Oh my... Or a 1UPtimist T shirt? Oh man... Anyways, I've been considering using another avatar for any special occasion, but since there's no such things any time soon, I'll probably forget... But maybe I'll remember when it's my birthday again (and it's only around 9 months there anymore, too). Well, until then... |

So, does anyone want to guess which of my old avatars my current one is related to?
Remember, I gave the hint that the at least one third of my post about Anime was mentioning an important aspect of my current avatar. Another hint: That aspect is not really visible most of the time, in the case of my current avatar. -

No, that one was not an AG one. That was a Drowtales one. The one my current AG avatar relates to, was an AG avatar however. By the way, on that page of the comic I linked to, K'Thonya is using her Soulstone Power, which is controlling metal. Here is that page again. Now, no more hints. I think now you should be able to piece it together. -
