Green Street Hooligans

Watching this right now. Anyone else ever seen it? It's pretty good thus far.

Oh I saw it in a video store. Wanted to watch it. Heard it was good.

Awful film in my opinion, makes no sense whatsoever (especially Elijah Wood's character motivations). It starts off nicely, but ends in completely nonsense. You might like it, you might hate it, it's that kind of film.

Just got over. I loved it. And I understood Wood's motivations. He felt as if he had no life, no home, no family. That's why he was attracted to GSE. I thought the ending was pretty good too. But that's just me...

I'll try watch it as soon as I get the opportunity.

I hoped that it would've been more about football than hooliganism. :)
But it was nice that West Ham was part of the movie, my second fav British football club. :)

I was kind of confused about all of that. The only team I recognized was Manchester United.

SakSquash 02-18-2006 12:42 PM

Wait a second. Does a hooligan = Chav?

Kind of.
