Being RC is no excuse to be uptight. Is Jesus too cool to have a sense of humor? Or is he going to be a dick about it?

I got you

I just wanted to know what reaction it will result in... The 1st version was even more so I edited that post...
Of course my first reaction on watching the poor guy was chucklin' too.
I wrote the post when I read an other forum thread to learn this:

the islam fundamentalists threw in ~2 mill in $US on the cartoon makers head! Poor bastard, he's history

You want offensive? This is offensive:
Passion of Benny Hill.
And funny imho.

I think it's interesting that everyone finds this funny but sympathises with anyone who found the Danish cartoons offensive.

You can say what you like about Christians, but at least when they say "tolerance" they generally mean it. Think how absurd it would be if Christians boycotted French products because of this. Now compare and contrast...

That Jesus movie is a total rip off of this hilarious animated short that's been circulating the internet for years (since 1999 apparently). I find the original to be actually much more funny for a reason.

Well, I don't know who are you talking about, as in the Danish cartoon thread I have read the vast majority criticised Muslim fundamentalists' reaction as unacceptable.

That said, I thought especially the second movie is in very bad taste. I mean, even religious context aside, hyperrealistically depicted violence plus cheerful music? So cool.

I assume you're referring to The Passion of Benny Hill, there. Yeah, that was just tasteless. And not particularly funny (after all, it's just sped up and reversed frames of film with silly backing music). But then, I'm not a Benny Hill fan either...

If you thought that was tasteless, than I shouldn't show you a use of Benny Hill that really is tasteless.

Wait, I liked the Passion of Benny Hill. I thought it was funny, but maybe that's just my sick sense of humor.

Then you'll probably like the ending in this. It actually made me laugh out loud, and it did again when I just rewatched it.

I actually like that film, but the sequels suck.
