Your favourite teddy bears
I know that there is an on-going thread about your favourite childhood toys, but I just wanted to focus only on teddy bears. They're awesomely cute and cuddly! My first teddy bear was this white furry thing which I named "Lenny Pie" (don't ask me where I got the name from), and I used to drag him all over the world in those days when my parents used to go on trips, all the way from Malaysia to Thailand to Bali and even to New York! (too bad I missed you, Sassy, heh). He got so tattered in the end from all those lovin' and cuddlin'. We moved around a lot, and when my parents split up, I lost Lenny in the midts of the domestic chaos.
I lost interest in cute and cuddly things after that, and I used to get real annoyed with girls who squealed over teddy bears (and stuffed animals, in general). But only recently my best friend Alia introduced me to a tatty teddy (popularly known as "Me To You Bear") that I immediately fell instantly in love with. And even now I still go nuts every time I see one of these teddies on display.

I have a weak spot for stuffed animals. I think I'd better stay away from this thread, for fear of falling back into childhood.

EDIT: I looked at the pictures again. I feel like fainting. I guess I need some therapy to get rid of my Teddy Bear madness.

Never had me a teddy bear when I was growing up. I'd love to have had a white Gund teddy like the one Mira posted.
What I had instead was a stuffed tiger which was even bigger than me. Something like this. I called him Hodori. He's in plush heaven now though. |

Yeah. Apparently that model comes with velcro strips you can tear off to reveal the explosion .
