Default The L Word

I've just been through the first season of this show, and loved every moment...

Thoughts, anyone?

Yeeeessss, seebsie. Nothing quite like the ultimate feeling of exclusion for a straight man than to watch two beautiful lesbians together.

All I know is I used to walk by broadcasting offices on the way to work and they had huge posters in the windows advertising it, showing as much flesh as was legally possible in public. Always put a smile on my face. Never actually seen the show, but I've heard good things. I'll check it out after I've finished Shameless, My Name Is Earl and all the other TV shows I'm still catching up with.

The thing is that, as much as I like the whole lesbian thing, there's much more to this series than half-naked (or completely naked... this one is not family safe) women ( ). The characters and their relationships is just incredibly well depicted, and I spend the entire time either laughing with them or aching for them.

Good stuff, I'm telling you.

I hope it's not too violent though...

About the subject, I can't bear to watch shows like that. I can however mention that for some reson in Finland it's (when translated) The L Code Ingenious...

I haven't watched it, yet. But then, did any of you watch the L word?

EDIT: Nevermind.

Lost & Desperate Housewives are really the only worthwhile shows on TV at the moment. IMHO.

24 rocks! And (at the risk of exposing myself as a hopeless sci-fi freak!) Battlestar Galactica!

Totally.

I haven't heard of "The L Word" yet, but I watch Queer As Folk. Is it anything like that?
