Default Movie News: Snakes on a Plane

This isn't video-game related but I just couldn't help myself it's too funny! It's a real movie by the way...on imdb and everything. Delete it if it breaks the rules, but I thought it was hilarious.

Plot: Neville Flynn (Samuel L. Jackson) and Sean Jones (Nathan Phillips), FBI agents, escort John Saunders (Mark Houghton), a former mafia member to testify in a highly publicized case. In the course of a flight between Hawaii and California, an assassin releases hundreds of poisonous snakes in the hope of killing the witness.

On the Title: At some point, the film's working title was altered to Pacific Air Flight 121, to the consternation of many. In August 2005, a perturbed Samuel L. Jackson told an interviewer, "We're totally changing that back. That's the only reason I took the job: I read the title." The film was soon reverted to the working title of Snakes on a Plane.

This is one of those films that has already garnered a huge cult following despite us knowing very little but the title. Which, to be honest, sums up the entire film.

Because, sometimes, the most obvious, straightforward titles rock.

Of course, this film could well end up being completely rubbish. But I'm pretty confident that I'll end up seeing it.

Yeah, I've heard something about this movie and it most definitely has the best movie title ever.

Spoiler:
"There are some ************* snakes on the ************* plane!"

Yes, and he's acting like a pro, completely unphased by the deadly snake on his arm

When I first saw that picture, I though he was thinking about "Mmmm, those are some tasty looking snakes, I think I'll eat them."

Another airplane "suspense"/action flick, this is probably going to be horrible. Still, I'll go see it for Samuel L. Jackson, he's one of the few actors that manages to pull off saying "motherf*ckers" over two hundred times and still look tough, or something

Yea, my noobishness stands out yet again....got lost on the way to the chit-chat forum.

Actually it's even worse, as I didn't even see this part of the forum existed. Oh well.

The t-shirt is nice.

Were each of those snakes charged fare for seats onboard? Was that first class or coach?

I'm waiting for the scene where someone goes to buckle up and the inevitable "mile high club" joke.

Yes, in fact I've heard the ending takes place on a HUGE cat monster and Samuel L. Jackson ends up having to fly two planes packed with uranium into each other on his own in order to save the world from destruction
