No idea, I kept meaning to check it out but it was always 15 quid in HMV etc so i never bothered. Must have a look for it now actually. I heard it was critically received better than GATS but it bombed in sales.

The Holy Bible is proclaimed to be their best album. If you like the Manics you should by rights have it over their new stuff, which has become increasingly unlistenable with each new album.

Is anyone else annoyed with new bands with the word "The" in the title? And the Arctic Monkeys are in no way a 10 as they've been given in NME. No way. Absolutely no frigging way. Talented kids, but they're still kids. Give them ten years to really run through the mill and then see what they produce, cos atm it's all a big Jam ripoff.

Rush and Spock's Beard

Not heavy, but my fav bands. Proge bands, to be exact.

I liked their lead vocalist's backups on "Bring me to Life" from Evanescence. 12 Stones are a Christian-themed band, but I'm not really into their style. I'd be more inclined to listen to P.O.D. for that.

Maybe I should just start my own band in order to satisfy my own picky tastebuds.
