Oh, I think there have been many memorable sitcoms on the American TV. My list of good American sicoms would include shows like, Newhart, Murphy Brown, The Wonder Years, All in the Family, Taxi, and the Mary Tyler Moore show.

I will buy AD, but not quite yet. I've realised that I've spent a good £30-40 on DVDs in the last week or so, what with purchasing a couple of birthday presents and ordering the Australian release of Serenity...

Only Fools and Horses enjoys legendary status here in Croatia and for a reason, it's one of the best old-fashioned British sitcoms out there.

After watching the "Chaos" episode of Spaced, I was absolutely stoked when I saw the reference to Don't Look Now. I can't remember the time I last laughed so hard.
Looking back, I don't think I laughed because it was that funny, It's just that I didn't expect there to be such an obscure movie reference (And once again brought back nightmare of midgit dwarfs slashing my throat).

I saw the 'Only Fools And Horses' bar in Turkey, where they plays non-stop 'Fools and Horses' all day long (its like UKTV Gold on a Saturday but EVRYDAY)

I have. Unfortunately, I thought it was dire. There were a few inspired sketches whose memory, I suspect, has boosted the show's reputation far beyond what it deserves, but overall I found it to be the most tedious, dull sketch comedy that I have ever suffered through.

I haven't seen Spaced or Shaun of the Dead yet, so I can't necessarily compare it to them. Your tastes may vary. However, I will say that if you are looking for more of Simon Pegg, then you'd be better off with Hippies or King Stupid/The 99p Challenge instead.
