Legos and K'Nex here...purely for architechtural and engineering reasons.

Anybody else?

My co... Oh you mean those types of toys. Well I don't have any toys, besides my PC games, I dont have time to play with anything else, getting my degree seems to be the toy I have.

Yes, Lego...

Technically, it's been a while since I played with my collection but I still admire it.

Wherever I visit a toy store, though, I pity the young 'uns of today. 90% of the Lego sets I see are Harry Potter and Star Wars tie-ins with laughably few pieces to play with. Gone are the days of my childhood with Lego System themes ranging from knights and castles to futuristic underwater bases...

Hmm. I can't think of many I still play with, sadly, though I wish I had some Lego knocking about at university, now that this thread has made me nostalgic for the stuff .

I wish I'd had Legos as a kid - I would have loved them - I used to play with my brother's erector set - the metal pieces had to be assembled with tiny screws and nuts, but it was very limited. And instead of being a nurse, I'd probably have been an architect today. sigh...

The only toy I have had since childhood is a small loom to make potholders - my brother gave it me for my 7th birthday. I still do occasionally make a bunch to use.

I was at a toystore a few days ago poking around, and there are quite a few themes out there that aren't movie related.

< dirty mind > Bad jacob, bad jacob! Down!

I had tons of legos, still do actually, sitting somewhere in the basement, I love how it stimulates the imagination I loved the space-themes too, I had like 5 giant spaceships with several "decks" (combined out of dozens of smaller kits). If I ever have kids they'll have a ball, plus I'll buy them that new programmable 'robot' lego stuff and play with it myself watch them have fun

Well, yeah Legos, if I had any. All my huge crates full of Legos were given to my brother's son.

I loved my Lincoln Logs. I could play with those for hours.

I actually found some at a garage sale a few years ago and bought them....
I think I'll play with them tonight - I need it.

I remember going to the Lego store in Downtown Disney.

Has a lego loch ness monster in the lake and sells masses of Lego.

I had Meccanno as a kid probably similar to FGM's brother. It was metal with screws etc.

My favorite toy when I was growing up (I was a big-time nerd even back then):

I haven't had one in a long time. I need to find one.

Playmobil! I love Playmobil.

When I was a kid I loved He-Man and She-Ra. They are still in a box somewhere downstairs.

I still buy toys for myself sometimes. I love Blythe dolls, and I like to buy mini figures from Japan, the kind where you don't know which one is in the box so it's a surprise when you open it.

I play a version of Traffic jam, called Rush Hour - I love sliders.

I also covet colored pencils (for drawing and coloring my game notes, of course ) and I'm addicted to jigsaws (but now played on the computer).

I lost all of my toys when we moved into a new house. I remember one of my favourite toy was this white teddy bear whom I named "Lenny Pie".
