I'm talking super retro, personally. Or "fake" retro... some of those titles you guys listed I just see as being attempting to do more than the tech allowed at the time. Other games revelled in their inabilities and used their limitations to make something aces. Newer games like Tron 2.0 took an old style and made it look stunning, despite it merely being an imitation.
