Default Complete Boll - ocks

From wikipedia;

Quote:
Boll is at the helm of the forthcoming Hunter: The Reckoning, Postal, Fear Effect, Dungeon Siege, Far Cry, and several others he has acquired the movie rights to. Currently he is in a bidding war for rights to Half-Life and Metal Gear Solid.
If he gets the rights to Half-Life I will actually assasinate him.

I know, he'll probably turn into an action-packed cheesefest where the G-Man is evil because of him say, saying "HEY GORDON IM GONNA KILL YOU WITH MY NUCLEAR BOMB" not because of the sinister mystery surrounding him.

I hope he does get the rights. I would love to see a Half Life movie, unlike Doom or any other mindless FPS Half Life actually has a great story behind it. So it could make a fab film, IMHO of course.

Uh... Well, here's the thing. Could a "fab film" be made of Half-Life? Yes, of course. But could Uwe Boll make a "fab film" of Half-Life? Not a chance in hell.

I dunno, I'm not actually seeing this "strong plot" that Half-Life supposedly has. It's always struck me as very much a B-movie thing. Of course, any Uwe Boll film is a bad film, but there are certainly worse licences he could get hold of...

Someone distract him with that licence while I convince him Grim Fandango and Thief don't exist.

That's "An Uwe Boll" film to you, matey .

And I'd like to see his version of Monkey Island or Loom myself ...

Or maybe No One Lives Forever.

I'd also quite like to see him do The Mystery of the Druids ...

We've seen no evidence so far that Boll even knows Adventure Games exist, let's hope it stays that way.

Actually, I think it's "a", as even though Uwe starts with a vowel, it's pronounced "Yew" isn't it, meaning the extra consonant "n" is not necessary; similarly "an hotel" not "a hotel" because the aitch is silent.

I feel petty now

I don't know what's the americanized version (Ã* la "Arnold Sh-war-see-nigger"), but the way "Uwe" should be pronounced sounds more like "Ooveh".

Also, I've been taught to pronounce "h" in "hotel", at least in English. EDIT: Correction: AskOxford says it's acceptable, though old-fashioned, not to.

It's "An Uwe Boll Film". Check the DVD artwork or a film poster if you don't believe me .
