That's my alma mater (Bachelors and DVM degrees).

Granted this was 15 years ago (for the BS). One of the guys I went to high school with played for the basketball team (Shawn Wax). I haven't followed them much since.

I hate USC because they get so damn lucky. I was cheering for Notre Dame when they played them. USC got so friggin' lucky down the stretch. Converting on 4th and long, then Leinart fumbled the ball at the goal line and it turned out to be a GOOD thing (luck, luck!) because it went out of bounds and the clock stopped with enough time for one more play. They got lucky several times this year, and I see no reason for their luck to end when they play the Texas Longhorns tomorrow in the National Championship game. Not only are they just naturally lucky bastards, the game is also in Pasadena, giving USC a massive advantage. I don't like the Longhorns chances in this game, but I wish I could say otherwise.

Humm. Well, I hate the New York Yankees, but there's no love of any kind involved.

Other than that I'm fairly neutral (and don't watch team sports that often anyway).

I don't get why people hate the Yankees. So they bought their way to the top. So what? They didn't break the rules.

Hate the Spurs and Pistons because they're bandwagon teams, though I do respect them (still hate Duncan and Manu).

Hate the Red Soxs because they blame their losses on a "curse." No, you just suck. Hate the Cubs because their jackass fanbase rallies behind them, then runs to bandwagon with the White Sox. Same case with Cardinals. But I hate the Cardinals because everyone in Illinois thinks they're "our" team. Missouri isn't that close, people.

Hate the Packers because of their fanbase. They suck. Favre's old. Deal with it. Hate the Bears because, well, you have to live in Illinois to understand it.

Illini and Buckeyes? Nothing but luck. Cocky bastards.
