Wow, what a great animated avatar that would make!

Ooh, good plan! If only it were more christmassy. Maybe I could add some tinsel.

Cheers Mel and SJH, my brain must work better when it's disease-ridden! For some reason I can't see them on my work PC so I'll have to check yours out later Scott.

Sweet, cheers for voting to anyone who did! Good to see it isn't my first effort that's up there.

By the way...in what way was that first one inspired by little brittian?

Heres my half assed attempt at an animation
http://www.fabrica.it/flipbook/flipb...o&p=1&type=all

It questions reality...sorta

It was inspired by one of my favourite sketches, the crazy bird played by David Walliams who goes "eh eh ehhhh!" There's a great one where she's in the garden drawing, and the asylum manager is showing some inspector around. The manager says how she loves to draw the flowers, but when she gets up she leaves her pad behind, and when he shows it to the inspector she's actually drawn a flipbook pretty similar to my animation

I like that.

Flipbook would be great if you could control the length of time between individual frames.

So Flipbook was running on my Quicktime at home (I think I have something less than version 7). It wasn't running at all here (i.e. just got a quicktime logo). Now I've installed QT 7 and I get a logo with a question mark. Honestly, I could read the damn quicktime page and see what the problem is, but can someone who knows the answer off the top of their head indulge me? I would be grateful.

It's hard to maintain quality through each frame when you're in a rush. I'm beggining to understand anime.

That's a really good running cat. I wish I could draw stuff. And yeah, what is that flying over its head? It doesn't seem too impressed!
