I know. But it was a Yuletide Cthulhu, and Christmas is officially over ( ). Maybe I'll have it back next Christmas. And maybe I'll be able to actually make that black bathrobe and fez for my Cthulhu plush handpuppet toy finally... -

1825 in history.
First modern railway opens in England. Johann Strauss, Jr. is born. Chopin turns 15. Darwin starts studying medicine, but doesn't really like it. Joseph-Nicéphore Niepce thinks of making the oldest surviving photograph, but other obligations keep him busy until the next year. Aluminium discovered by Hans Christian Oersted. It is unclear what soda cans were made of prior to that. The Russians bid farewell to the year 1825 with the Decembrist Uprising. No worthwhile movies released.

Here's a little fact that will bore everyone who doesn't already know it: aluminium extraction used to be really expensive, so the end product was rare. One of the Tsar's palaces in Russia actually has rooms decorated in tin foil to show how rich he was at the time .

So, I'm crude, am I?
Ok, I can live with that.

Is it because you're doing 25 to Life? I hope you don't mean you're playing that game. It sucks.
