I know. I'm just exploiting the guilt trip for all the value I can get of it...

Guilt? What is that "guilt" you talk of?

A loony knows no guilt.

Yes, yes...make them drunk. Incapacitate them. Know thy enemy and make sure it is drunk.

Misconstrue

-to misunderstand the meaning of; take in a wrong sense; misinterpret.

Knowing you two somewhat, I have to believe that the comment was completely innocent but do realize that it's ripe for getting misconstrued. When a heterosexual young man wants to get a young woman drunk, he usually has one thing in his mind.

Good point. That wasn't intended.

That said, I feel that the meaning is fairly obvious given the context of the post above it.

I propose that we have the title of the thread changed. The new title should be the Thread That Will Never Die. How about it? Isn't it about time?

Akanesie I think that you should by now have noticed that Tibsie is the last one who would do such a thing as rename the Thread to something like that.

Gah! I hate the Bundesliga! I HATE FOOTBALL! It's robbing me of my well deserved dosis of old Navy CIS episodes! I want NAVY CIS!!!

"Wiw lagen vow Madagaskaw und hatteng die Pest and Bowd!"

Yes! You are right Iggy, of course. Send those bloody footballers on a ship to Madagascar with the plague on board.

But if we rename it to "thread that will never die" it will die in a few days.. that's how it works!

Why do you think I want the title change? As far as I can see, that's the only way to finally put the thread out of the misery and afford it the rest it deserves.

B...But why would you want to kill the thread? It's such a lovely place to be!

"Oh I'm a Lumberjack and I'm...so sowwy that I killed you dear...I see two...no, three. Definitely three of them..."

Though I'd like to kill, or at least torture, or at least poke Robert a little right now for getting my poor Iggykins drunk! Do you hear that Robert Tiberius Lacey? You have some things to answer for!

I suddenly have an urge to hear the word "indictment" said with a Scottish accent. Sadly, it's a bit late to call any of my Scottish friends.

Quite right too. Ever is a horrible drink. You should try Cream Soda instead.

It's taken up huge amounts of people's lives unnecessarily. What makes you think it deserves rest?

You are right about this thread taking up huge amounts of people's lives unnecessarily. And so have tax codes. I'm all for abolishing both. Death to the thread! Death to the tax laws.

Hmmmmm, but then again, if there are no more tax laws in the book, Step, you might have to look for a new career. May I suggest lion taming?
