Ah, but I'm betting on her reading to catch up. And, if that's the case, I don't want it to be a pancake reference-free experience.

Mind you, somebody has managed to sell a tool that looks suspsiciously like two frying pans joined together by a hinge.

And the problem with the darn thing is time. every time you flip it it takes forever for the other side to heat up. in other words... they suck

The trick with flipping pancakes is:

Spoiler:

Get someone else to do it, so you can laugh when they make a mess of it

Looks like but isn't, the top one has no raised sides so when something gets flipped over is leaks out

This is what pancakes should look like:

(In case the image doesn't show, this is where I found it in my google image search.)
Pancakes like these also look acceptable. Maybe a bit thick, but ok.

A bus, oh dear, I used a bus once. I'd feel sorry for you, but then I remembered, YOU HIT ME WITH A PAN!

Pans are for pancakes, not Jatsie's head.

That's why it's not a pancake. It's the abomination known as American Pancakes. (Disclaimer: I've never tried those, so they may be tasty. But it's still not the same.)

Oh, they're good. Great, actually.

Oh, and if Adventure Gamers ever has an "Emotican Idol" contest, I'll go on record as wanting this to be my entry:

I like them... And probably what you are calling a pancake, we call those Swedish pancakes. They have those in restaurants here as well (for breakfast).
