Maybe if you straddled the bonnet again, he'd regain interest?

I'll promise to do it when it's in one piece.
Hrmpf. I have no intention of straddleing the bonnet of a piece of junk.

A cool old car, but still just an old car.

C. Classic Mustangs are lead-pipe simple and easy to work on (they are after all just Falcons with more attractive styling).
D. If you want one, get one. There is no better enthusiast car to "cut one's teeth on" as far as restoring goes.
I suppose. I was using "priceless vintage car" as a generic description, but I know what you mean. It is a convertible, does that make it worth more, possibly?

I'd love to buy it, and I'll probably inquire at the junk shop to see what's going on with it. Unfortunately, I've got something that's *rather expensive* possibly coming up in July, and that will take a lot of my available funds. I would love to have a restoration project, which is the reason why I originally looked into buying the M135 that's sitting next to the lot that the Mustang is in.

My uncles on one side of the family have had their chopped '34 Ford hot rods and '38 Ford hot rods and whatever else, getting them through their automotive business, hence the family interest in antique cars.

Wow. I go off to GDC, and come back to these forums to see Trumgottist wearing nothing but a towel. What is the world coming to?

Anything* to kill The Thread™. I'm going to continue to illustrate it until it dies**.

* Not really anything, but it sounded good to say so.

I'm not taking requests. The idea was to kill the thread, remember? So here's something that's not a sheep:

I think you're thinking of replacing your drawer furniture, so you've drawn a diagram of where to drill the holes, but you haven't put the handle on yet.
