I'm coming out against bookcases, it's about time somebody took a stand!

I beg to differ. Your grid was 11 letters wide and my name is only 9 giving you two whole letters to spare.

Do you have a view on books themselves or is it only their cases you're objecting to?

Personally I think bookcases are preferable to the enormous stacks of books my wife would have as an alternative.

Mainly it's the furniture, but now that you mention it, I'm not big on books either.

Books contain dangerous things like facts, and ideas. They must be kept out of the wrong hands!

Yes it wouldn't be good if people started forming ideas and voicing opinions.

Okay, enough.

In other news, something has happened to my internet connection this evening. Everything is running at a snail's pace.

Thanks to the font that Stepurhan pointed out, I'll be doing a greater thread-eating crossword puzzle. I'll be sure to include you, among others...

I bet you were downloading an e-book.

Serves you right, hippie!

Why do americans use feet as measurements? 12 inch is one foot? It doesn't make sense!

But so as not to oppose them by using the metric system, I am from now on going to use Khelgar as a measurement (the shirtless dwarf I showed you earlier in the thread. Here is again, for reference:

)

I am half a Khelgar wide, and two Khelgars tall.

You won't go book burning!

Jatsie

A book ranges in size from about a sixth of a Khelgar tall to a full Khelgar tall.

Because we invented the Imperial system, and they secretly want to be us.

Khelgar's not a size zero, is he?
