Maybe this will help kill the thread:
Tenerife Pigeon.

Now I need to get some pictures of some of the pigeons we have here in Norway..

No, we did not eat that delicious, plump-breasted pigeon.

dove = pigeon (in Swedish, we only have the word "duva" to describe them)

Furthermore, I believe that The Thread™ should be killed.

Oh okay. Thank you for the clarification. But they should give them separate words, they really are completely different types of birds.

Yes he is! And for that you must help us keep the thread alive.

Pidgeons have more fatty tissue because of all the french fries, potato chips, and yes, fig newtons that they eat.

I'm so sorry, I couldn't resist.
Bad Scott! *smack*

How does one kill a pidgeon? Walk up to it and hit it with a shovel?

Pigeons are the Vermin of the skies (actually "Rats of the Skies", but I like rats).

Did you know that Pigeons are one of the few breeds of bird that are not susceptible to Avian Flu? Too bad that they have just about every other illness that's possible to get out there.

Doves are alright in my book.

Also, the Golden Pigeon (some kind of mutant pigeon. It's golden yellow. There's also a second one, which is some strange tinge of orange, that for some reason I didn't give a name to. They're descended from normal grey city pigeons, as are all the others I will now list) I call "Queen Scheherazade" (I like to think she's the leader of those pigeons), the black pigeon "Kokopelli", the two white pigeons "Shanandoah" and "Princess", and the brown one whose name I have forgotten, are alright. They fly around the park near my old school, and always landed on the roof of the house in sight of my classroom.

Also, these are some dazzling pigeons if I ever saw them!:

I especially love the second one. It looks amazing, and is kind of cute in a weird way. That's a pigeon I could learn to love.

And Doves won't dry your skin, like soap can...

The pigeons in Frankfurt are so fat and sluggish, you could cacht them with your bare hands and grill them. I don't think anyone's that desperate for food, though.

Supposedly, they're that way in New York City. I wouldn't know. The morning doves I see around here would be pretty easy targets, though, as the local cats demonstrate.
