He's right. This thread died for a couple of days after post number 878, so by the original rules Karmillo is the official winner.
All Hail Karmillo!
Congratulations, guy. Enjoy the prize to the fullest.

Argh! I thought the cranium looked a little small for a chimpanzee! If I had noticed the G4 Macintosh beside it, I would have realized it was far too little to be a chimp.
Oh well...I never claimed primate osteo-taxonomy as a specialty.

How's that?

So I went and looked at the skeleton again (it's in the anatomy lab) - the sign says it's male. This is an old skeleton. I won't discount your answer of female because that pelvis looks rounded. I'd want to see a confirmed female macaque skeleton to compare.

And actually, the canines are there. They have 2 incisors then 1 canine on one side. There's a gap between the last incisor and the canine which is what you noticed. It's hard if you've not seen a lot of skeletons.

So I'm 0-for-3? Crap!
Do I get bonus points for at least recognizing that it was a primate?

So you're saying chimps are PC users but Macaques use Macs? Guess it makes sense what with "Mac" being part of their name and all.

Oh yeah, and Yay Karmillo. I'm glad you will now have the tools to save the world from crashing time zeppelins.

We'rs still taking this thread to post 2000 though, right?
