Yes please..
This is Mike at Thread-Killers R Us. I'm just calling to say that we won't be able to ship The Post™ that he ordered because his credit card has been refused. The card company siad something about the entire balance already being used up funding a debauched student lifestyle. Hope this doesn't hamper any thread-killing plans he had. Bye.

I feel you haven't been exactly truthful by saying you conduct the university choir and that you spend a lot of time playing adventure games and....and.... I would like to hand in my resignation right here and now. *hands over resignation* Bye Mr Lacey!

I should point out that I conduct a choir at university, not the university choir. There are a number of choirs up here, and I simply run either the largest or the second-largest non-auditioning choir (given fluctuation in numbers).

Giligan here. I'm at a hotel with free internet access, so I thought I'd drop in. See the Thread is still alive - pity about that - although I still have hopes in all your thread killing abilities...

Hello, Mr Lacey, Threadokil here.
I'm sorry but I don't think we can help you. Our largest Thread trap is only big enough to catch 15,000 post threads and we never expected to ever see one even that large. You might want to think about contacting the military.

I bet an Oxfordian choir is a great place to pick up men, can you use your wand to conduct some hotties my way?

General Growler reporting to Mr Lacey sah!
Regret your request must be turned down sah! Use of tac nukes in forums populated by civilian forumites is strictly forbidden by the Geneva convention. Good luck with your thread-killing endeavours in the future. Over and out.

You could always make a dirty bomb, It' won't kill a lot of people but it will make the thread uninhabitable for a few decades

Rob will tell us all how it's not actually at page 1000, because he's displaying 40 posts per page, instead of the default 20.

This might very well be true. I'm still disappointed that you haven't commented on or explained exactly what kind of debauched student lifestyle you're into. I'm still in shock but could consider resuming my employment as your secretary having been given a satisfactory explanation. Your correspondence is piling up as you can see and it seems there isn't anyone to take care of it. Yours sincerely Mrs J

I've just installed 512 mb ram and a new dvd burner in my pc, + changed speakers.
I'm already feeling the difference. Everything loads much quicker, and I have hell of a bass now.. Everything sounds different.. Haven't tried the dvd burner yet though..

I'm not engaged in any student debauchery .
And Jat, there's a fair derth of tenors and basses in my choir at the moment. Would you be happy with a few of the female altos? In other news, I want to go home. I also want my flipping computer back... |

I didn't even got to start my fantasy about being a secretary due to your lack of cooperation. I'm disappointed. And btw Rob. The secret word is baobab.
