That was... weird.

I don't think a Grim Fandango reference should be referred to as lying. At least not this one, since it made me smile.

I didn't say I got to feed the crows with the thread. I just said that *if* anyone will do so, it will be I.

I'm still waiting for highest bidder. And even then, I'm not sure if I want to kill this thread.

Soy sprouts, and crunchy duck as my FCR used to prepare them.

I've been deprived of that pleasure for too long since our friend passed on my FCR to another owner.

I have a feeling I'm going to regret asking, but what's an FCR?

Ahh, I haven't used that term for a long time. But some people here might still know that "FCR" is my "Favourite Chinese Restaurant". I used to talk a lot about it, once it was still owned and run by a friend of the family (he even was our guide in China), but it has since changed owners twice, and the food is no longer as good as it used to be when our friend ran the restaurant.

You could have used the search function, you know.

Don't worry about the chopsticks. I have my own, lucky red chopsticks.

I could have, if I'd realized that it was something you'd written about earlier. As it was, I tried entering into Google without luck, and then I figured that the best way to get informed was to ask.

Edit: No, I couldn't have used the search function. I just tried, and got no matches. A three-letter word is probably too short to be indexed by the forum software.

The question is... does this Thread™ contain enough fat to be interesting to the crows?

Isn't triple posting against the unwritten laws of foruming?

Now I'm at my home computer and feel safe clicking links I can comment.

Full marks for the attempt. That does score highly on the weirdness of the internet scale.

Sadly, as Uptimist has already pointed out, this thread has survived worse. Do keep trying though. I'm kind of intrigued to see what you can come up with being fresh to the challenge and all.

I hope you've been learning a heck of a lot more than just the cant if you're expecting to end up in Sigil and survive. Speaking the language is only going to get you so far there. What you really need is an in with the Lady of Pain.

I'm not planning to shift there in the near future, so don't worry. And I know there's much more to the Hive than the cant. And I'd rather avoid the Lady of Pain if I can (though I know that that is kind of hard). *shivers*
