Maybe they'd met you before.

Not probable, considering that any Germans I "met before" were dispatched at point-blank range with a Trenchgun or Thompson, or a Sten if I didn't have anything else.

Ah yes, and one more gripe: CoD3 doesn't have any guns that come equipped with chainsaws, which I'll blame on the Ordnance Dept. circa 1944.

Oh no, you didn't. I'm still here!

I have no reply to that.

By the way, a little Christmas cheer from the Gears forums:

That seems to be a rather hazardous weapon. What if your right hand missed the front hand grip? It wouldn't have to be out by much for a nasty accident to occur.

No, the only time the chainsaw is moving is when it's slicing through an opponent, making it rather hard to get your fingers under there. Besides, the guard under the foregrip would prevent it anyway. And if all else fails, there's the Gore-tex™ copy Gears gloves to keep you in one package.

Yes, thank you, thank you. All one has to do, though, is turn the shotgun around and fire it at point-blank range into your opposition's neck. It's some small comfort.....

By the way, when is Jelena supposed to be back?

Actually I meant that Izumi might lend you her mighty spatula of smiting. Nothing can defeat an alchemist's spatula!

That reminds me of an recent incident involving myself, a toaster with narrow slice holders, an extremely wide bagel, and a meat hammer......

Wait, what were we talking about again?

And what is this "number two" stuff? I don't wear an eyepatch.

There's nothing wrong with an eye patch. Besides myopia, there's nothing wrong with my eye either, though.

Actually, the fabric of an eye patch would collect grime, dirt, and/or fluids leaking out of an empty eye socket, so yes, there probably is omething wrong with them.

You could just be blind on one eye, not missing the entire eye. The eyeball just would have to be damaged, you know.

Also, eye patches are sexy!

He doesn't have his eye patch in that portrait. Here's the up to date one:

I was watching Dr Phil the other day, and his guest was a woman, whose abusive boyfriend had shot out her right eye, and I was very upset that she wasn't wearing an eye patch.

Apart from looking stylish, an eye patch is just common courtesy, so people do not have to witness the gruesome sight of a thin piece of skin stretched across your vacant eye socket.

Gay people have thin pieces of skin stretched across their eyes?

Are you sure that's right? I've never noticed that before.

I'd like to apologise for the ridiculous generalisation in my previous post...

Obviously, lesbians are OK as long as I can watch.
