When I saw that paused scene, the refrain of this song popped into my head, except that I had never consciously heard the "I don't", so I thought it was "I do feel like dancing". That's my character, Cheru M'Achet (Cheru M'Achet = Cheru M Achet = "Voice at the Horizon" in Ancient Egyptian, where "Cheru" is Voice, "M" is "at the" and "Achet" is "Horizon") fighting two Mummy Lords, by the way. -

Hmm... Mummy Lords. Sounds like some kind of tooth-rotting sweet, doesn't it?

So long as everyone pronounces nougat correctly, I'm happy.

You mean it's not pronounced "nuh-get"?
And unless you read the "Sam&Max sketchbook, you probably won't get my above joke.

I detest that pronunciation. "noo-gar" is so, so much nicer sounding.

Now-gate? No-u-jat? Oo-gar? (When do you get a silent n?)

How can a word ending with a t be pronounced with an r-sound at the end?

That's not an audible "r". I could have written it as "noo-gah" if you'd preferred, but that wouldn't have implied a long vowel in the second syllable.
So yeah. Use the French pronunciation. Much better. |

But since your avatar is currently a Zombie, "gah" automatically has a long vowel for you, Tibsie. Also, I much prefer "Noo-Gah". -
