I don't get it. I've read too many of the posts here and it's obviously just a bunch of jibberish. Yet the whole point of this thread is to kill it, right? People aren't really trying very hard from what I can tell.

Wouldn't posting porn or racist propoganda or generally hateful/illegal comments/images do the trick? Let me know if I'm on the right track here, because I'm certain I can find something that ain't allowed on these forums.

I've tried to explain, but no one wants to face facts. This thread died weeks ago. It's being kept alive by perverse voodoo rituals involving live chickens and Coffee Crisp chocolate bars. Until people finally decide to stop playing with the corpse, it will continue to twitch and spasm and make moaning noises which will be misinterpretted as signs from beyond the grave that Monkey Island 5 is on its way.

Well, I tried, and I'm sorry if I offended anyone. Clearly I've totally missinterpereted this thread (I thought the idea was to push the limits of what can be posted to force this thing to shut down).

Thanks, Tabacco, btw - I would have removed it myself after reading all the negative posts. I swear, I'm not the least bit hateful and don't actually enjoy looking at whatever that was a picture of.

So what's the "proper" approach to killing a thread, or is that not so much the point anymore?
