Okay, maybe I should have spotted the potential for mockery in that comment. Of course, your interpretation of it is not what was intended.

Holding multiple fingers up. Or at least, I would have been, but instead I was using both hands to type.

Of course not. You need both hands for the clap.

Is that by any chance a quote from Seinfeldt?
I have a faint memory of an episode where he had met a girl and couldn't remember her name, but it rhymed with one of the expressions for the female genitals. When he finally had to say her name he took a chance and called her Mulva.
Wrong name of course!

BBC comedy series called Coupling. Series one.

The character saying it is concerned about an upcoming interview. He comes up with this sentence because.
  • He's afraid of accidentally saying something inappropriate during the interview (such as vulva)
  • If he uses the "imagine the interview panel naked" technique to make the interview easier they might retaliate by imagining him naked.
It's a vey funny comedy. I'd recommend getting hold of it if you can. Surreal but hilarious.

That's a better joke than the whole series contains!

Okay, that might not be true. It's not a show that really appeals to me, but then I can't really relate to half the ideas in it.

It's about a million times funnier than Green Wing, though.

I remember that episode, it turned out her name was Dolores, which doesn't rhyme with "clitoris" unless you mispronounce it.

Let me tell you: "*sigh* Oh, the good days when people were seriously attempting to kill the thread and it wasn't just out of control in this randomly shouting way it is now... Those were the days..."

I guess the way you made the quotes it can be quite confusing.

Oh, and I also was saying "Rawr!"

I guess I just wanted to make my presence known.

Anyone seen UPtimist recently? I'm sure I'd have noticed if he'd made his presence known in some way.

The Thread has now grown so big that it eats unwary posts. Like a black hole. No, more like a flower. "Feed me." Yeah - that's it.

Are you saying this thread is a mean beige mother from outer space?
